you could also unhook from underneath the boat if you would have connected a long lead to a pilon where you could stay dry and not risk falling in the water on an icey fender cover. I ge the simple video but you are not counting on the rough boat launches you face

I agree. I still see so many people struggling to launch a boat so I figured I would share how I have had success.
I normally just leave the winch connected then go for a swim and unhook it def gonna try that

I used to do that too. There are tons of ways to launch a boat by yourself. The biggest thing is just finding a way that works best for you. Good luck next time you hit the water.
What if you got a pretty steep boat launch, you think the boat could slide off before you hit the water

That’s a great point and it could for sure. I have carpet rails so they are kinda grippy. We don’t have very steep boat ramps where I fish so definitely something to keep in mind. I was merely showing how the bungee rope brings the boat back the trailer. I am sure there are better ways to launch a boat by yourself. This way just works for me.

@@BlueJaysOutdoorsLLC ya I’m sure it works great! Looks convenient by yourself, I would just caution someone if they had a heavier boat that could slide off on a steep ramp.
How long is the bungee rope?

This pack comes with a 4’ and 6’ rope. I use the 4’ rope.
