    I think lapbooks are brilliant! I’m 72 and just discovered them! I’m going to make one for: my new capsule wardrobe (smaller so I can take shopping with me); medical info (to take to dr;; garden planning; meal planning; etc!!!

    This would be perfect for ANY school, not just homeschool. For the college kids, though, you'd have to do it differently because of their tastes and needs. Heck, even for memories and storing ticket stubs and whatnot.

  • @erica_arndt

    I use the covers that come in my literature units, or I make my own it just depends. Most lapbook units you can purchase come with something you can use for a cover. If you're making your own lapbook contents then you can just make your own cover or have your kids draw something :)

    THANK YOU! I’ll have my precious granddaughter make something! My kids are older than YOU! One is a jewelry maker and the other... WAIT! The other one needs a project! I’ll give her an assignment for my first notebook! I love how these can be expanded! And you, my dear, are LOVELY! I appreciate your response. I know it takes time. What a blessing you are to your family. FYI: you do NOT need her tutorials at all but you might just watch one of Dominique Sachse’s videos. She is a lovely Christian woman in Houston. She is a member and friend of Joel Osteen’s church. Like you, her faith shines thru in warmth and sincerity . 🌹

    Can you explain to me in your expedition earth you have that you only need 2 file folders to make the lapbook for the world. However there are other lapbooks in there and even have pg references but no info to be found. So the animal books that you make per country and the general geography before the first country, where are those lapbook instructions? Are you just supposed to make the 1 lapbook and then just keep the other things in a folder?

  • @erica_arndt

    @erica_arndt

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Keri Hess Yes, that's what we do. We just make 1 world lapbook and put the mini hexagon books in that (one for each country sorted by continent.) Then we keep the animal books, paper projects, and worksheets in our student binder. But you can do it however works best for you. If you want to do one lapbook for each continent or country that would be fun, and you can keep the worksheets in a pocket in the back or something. Totally up to you :)

Also it is her birthday in 3 days and she will be in the hospital for it. So i am wondering as my birthday gift to her if you could give her a shoutout in your next video, or at least comment on this comment happy birthday to her, and that would make her really happy. I really hope you can do so for my little sister on her 10th birthday. Thanks, Daniella's brother.
