that's how I be lacing mine, b4 actually watching this video. I like this concept, because it has let me feel like I was lacing them the right way and wearin them wit socks to prevent creases in the front of them when u wears them. the socks for me is a necessity wit my sneakers, especially because sometimes the sneakers might be a little too spacious, so a sock can help take up some of that space inside the shoes, plus prevent the inside of the shoes from gettin dirty as well

I have some. They work… to an extent. They will bend it back but once you go for a run… you’re toast. I haven’t ran in them but I just know what would happen.

my issue is i got wide but shorter feet. my normal size is an 8 and i was gonna order down a half size so there wasn’t as much room at the toe but i’m glad i went with the 8 because even now the sides are a little tighter

I would cut an old Air Force 1 sole about the size of the toe box and put it inside the shoe(at the top of my feet) and that prevents most creasing.

Hey, I have just bought some Air forces today and I’ve put my old protectors in the new ones, the left shoe is perfect no creasing, but the right shoe creases, even tho I have protectors in them and their in the same spot, I’m also scared imma do this option and theyll crease more

i find that not having the sock helps me better. however, it does do alot and I would recommend this if you do not want to spend money on protecter's.

Or you could just put on your long crew socks half way through and when you put your foot in the shoe, fold the sock upwards on your foot. That makes it much more comfortable around the toe box too!

Cool idea thanks BUT i cant handle when my socks arnt straight in my shoes lol i can feel it and it annoys the hell out of me 😂 I did watch a guy on youtube that did a thin plastic cut out of the shoe box and he slid the thin plastic into the shoe and it sat flush up top of the AF shoe box, he said you cannot feel it at all and he put one shoe on with the plastic cut out and one shoe with out you could clearly see the one without crease and the one with the plastic guard not crerase at all 😊

u can just add some dr. scholls work boot gel insoles. more comfy than socks and it makes it feel like ur walking on pillows

**Big tip that might help some of you guys out!!!!** If you put an extra sole (or even 2) from one of your old shoes into your AF1 it helps to prevent creases without having to deal with the sock In the bottom of the shoes. Honestly I find the shoes more comfortable with an extra sole, since AF1 are naturally bulky. Also crease protectors are a huge plus+ but I understand this video was made to show homemade solutions

I use an extra insole for the needed lift it woks for me

AF1s are best worn loose laced, laces hanging outside and look great with heel slippage and Nike white socks, but socks must be ice white if going for the super loose look with heel slippage.

If you have a old pair cut the toe off the insole and put it in the toe box. 🤟🏾🤟🏾

Just switch the insole with a thicker insole. Sock creates uneven surface can bad for your feet

First 2 holes are the hardest for me, the tag keeps slipping out of place

QUESTION FOR PEOPLE WITH WIDE ASS FEET. I have a pair of airforces that are 3-4 months old and i wear them 2-3 times a week. I've noticed that the sides of the shoe are bulging out slightly and it makes the overall look of the shoe go from a 10 to a 3. I want the slim shape of the shoe back but i dont want to lace them ungodly tight. i like the loose lace look but when the laces are loose and i stand, the sides of the shoe bow out and dont hold shape because of my wife feet pushing on the sides. Anyone find a way to stop this from happening, or have similar issues?

Double Tie them fitted so that wont occur but don't loop them, try and put the remaining laces through the holes twice and let them hangout.
