How To Know You're Malaysian

This week, we dedicate a special video to our country for its 57th independence day on the 31st of August. For real, how do we really know we’re Malaysian?
Sometimes, its not always the beautiful and good things that makes us a country. But the things that makes us absolutely human.
Selamat Hari Merdeka!!!

Omg Indonesian here, and I swear this is really funny. A fresh air in the middle of my hectic exam weeks, gonna spend the rest of my day watching these guys' videos I guess. Btw I'm currently living in Australia where Malaysians & Singaporeans are like everywhere, and although Manglish is easier to understand, they sound almost the same somehow. I don't understand why you guys argue about it though, it's not even important lol (everyone speaks English, good on you). Not trying to be racist by I find Singaporeans & Malaysians easier to relate with than with other nationalities, so cheers!

*How to know you're Malaysian* 1) You cross the road without caring about the zebra crossing or the crossing bridge. 2) You expect food vendors everywhere cause that's just how things are normally 3) You speak many languages in one sentence 4) The way you day *three* and *tree* is similar 5) You often say *cuba try* even though both words has the same meaning 6) You rarely discriminate based on skin colour cause Malays, Indians, Sabahan, Sarawakian, Chinese has many shades of skin. (We just all wanna be fairer but if you're not fair skinned it's still okay) 7) You are used to the wonderful amount of public holidays

Alex Tan its pretty simple. in Malaysia, Petronas always do advertistments when a special event is coming (like independence day, deepavali, hari raya ,chinese new year and others) and apparantly, all the adverstistments that petronas ever made was touching. never fails. check it out on youtube

I recently created my KZread channel to document my experience while in Malaysia. I am differently going to share this video with my Malay friends! Great idea Great video!

Actually at grass root level, we have our differences but this clip shows our commonalities. The govt is doing a bad job in keeping people united. Malaysians actually have more commonalities than differences, but govt. policies becomes a hinderance. Go back 20 years and you will get what I mean. Go to bank loan dept or go to AKPK and you will see 1 Malaysia. The all races understood clearly that those policies are not helping any particular race at all but the cronies.

Wow .I see more racists comments here& talking bad about the gov political issue? I'm sorry haa, I'm Malay but I don't like to being called as Malay cuz I'm a Malaysian. Even I'm not really malay &my religion is Islam,my dad's bestfriend are majority chinese, and even I came from chinese school SJKC I see not all chinese are racist &only few teachers became racist of some issue to the malay students. But in reality &fact is I have a foster mother who is my dad's chinese friend ,even I have my both biological parents they treat me like their eldest daughter since they don't have a daughter in their family . Seriously why are the malaysian still being racist ? We both are totally different race & religion ,but we are united as a true family . This is real thing happen in my life ,so I just want to share my story to everyone that not all Malaysian should be racist,we need each other &love not war. :D peace !
