It isn't about 1 girl not liking you. Sure it hurts. But you know what stings, when one after another, all girls you had interest on either reject, or literally convey in different ways that they aren't interested in you and don't find you desirable/attractive. Heck, even girls I wasn't interested in did the same. And a lot of the girls I was interested in were plain looking, unassuming girls, whom I fell for because of their personality and how our likes aligned and how good rapport we had. All because of my looks which unfortunately I can't change (yes even with gym and self care it's not possible). In this stage, it isn't about your ego, but your self esteem regarding your desirability and your self image and your confidence will become non-existent. People will say that one shouldn't depend on others for their self esteem and validation(which is true) but how would one have confidence in themselves regarding their desirability and have positive self esteem in this regard when all they ever experienced was rejection
