How to Knit the Double Fleck Stitch

Double Fleck Stitch is a short, simple, 4 Row Repeat consisting of only knit and purl stitches that create little flecks of staggered texture on the front of your work.
Double Fleck Stitch is similar in texture to Andalusian, and Double Andalusian Stitch but stands out as the little seed stitches are staggered rather than sitting on top of each other.

TBH, I never heard of the double fleck stitch until the Full House actor, John Stamos, did a GEICO ad showing off his knitting "skills" 😂 I immediately had to go look up that stitch!

So how do you keep the knitting from CURLING so when you purl?

This stitch pattern lays flat, if you’re having issues with curling on the edges then maybe add a slim garter stitch border and then it’ll lay flat.
