Thank you so much for sharing this stitch technique. Would you recommend this type of stitch for use in a washcloth? I am interested in knitting some washcloths that provide a bit more exfoliation, and am looking into different, yet simple, stitch variations that I could use.

Very pretty stitch. I wonder why it doesn't curl since it's almost all stockinette. Maybe there's occasional purls help. 🔵🔵🔵

Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful patterns. I tried the dot stitch pattern for a scarf and for some reason curls after a good few rows. Ami doing something wrong? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Asha! I’m sure you’re not anything wrong. It’s a matter of tension (the combination of yarn, needle size, stitch pattern and your own tension). This is why I knit a swatch before starting a project. However, there’s a solution: Block the garment when finished. If you’re working with wool or blends, it will work 😉

I went to look at the written pattern and it says to KNIT rows 2 and 4. So Wich is it? Knits or purl's?

How come my rows of purls do not align with eachother? Im doing: Row 1: P1, K3 Row 2: all P Row 3: K3, P1 Row 4: all P But in row 3, the purl is one stitch too late so it doesn't allign, why is that?

But it does curl, unfortunately. Wouldn't work for a scarf.
