    Excellent tutorial. I have used this stitch before and found the crochet hook worked really well for me. And I totally agree it makes a fabulous cushiony fabric ❤

    Thank you so much for this tutorial, it's wonderfully clear and in exactly the right pace. It got me wondering if it was possible to work the elongated stitches only with an additional thread, e.g. in mohair or suri, to create something like an "overlay haze"? I have to try this tonight!!! 🤩

    It totally is! I'm blanking on any pattern names but I think the owner of Qing yarns has a design in the La Bien Aimee Neons book that uses this (or it looks like it does, I haven't actually seen how the pattern is worked), and I know I've seen a yoked sweater that does that too.
