I am just in the process of learning to do this. At the moment I can get good height from my kick but I am still landing on my back. Glad to know that the bridge exercise and the handstand push ups are in the right direction. I will attempt the backward roll push up to standing tonight to see if that helps. I am reasonably certain that one of my biggest problems is timing. Thanks for the tutorial though - its really helpful.

Great tutorial! As an instructor this is something I have the most difficulty teaching my students how to do. Only about 20% of them actually are able to pull of this move. I liked that you not only explained the mechanics of the Kip Up but also went into detail on which exercises would be effective to progress and why.

This really helped. I tried doing it but couldn't, so i said "eh whatever I can't do one". But then later I came back and tried again and i did it. Your tutorials are very helpful and really narrow everything down so people can get a better understanding of how to do one, and now i can teach my friends :)

Hi friends! Just wanted to thank you for doing all this tutuorials. I have been watching them for quite a while and it really helps to learn the moves and is a great motivation to keep going. One thing I might want to humbly suggest is to try to keep the tutorials short. It is definitely good to explain things in detail, but If you review them again and again, you want just the facts. You guys know Epic Mendoza, and I feel he is very efficient in cutting the videos, while still giving a good amount of information and offering concern for people. Otherwise thank you again and keep it up!
