I only learned of them a month ago, they aren't a very common pest control solution and I've only seen a handful of companies selling them online.

Not harmful to the mice??? Everything they scavenge to make a nest with is stuffed inside their mouths..Fairly certain the mucous membranes of their mouth/throat is going to be subject to that "irritant". And I'm pretty sure mice have eyeballs, you know, the thing you don't want to get Permethrin in. Then there's the issue with the cat that dies because he ate the mouse that was sleeping in a Permethrin laced nest. It's an interesting concept but I'll stick with Beneficial Nematodes for the ticks among other hateful insects and leave the mice to my outdoor cat.

Tick tubes are great but not harming mice is not one of the reasons why. Nothing is a bigger pest and disease carrier than mice.
