@@brentcloward4754 silent have a method to obtain bedrock in Minecraft, so you can get it and then spawn a wither inside, but yeah it'll be trapped in a bedrock cage

looking at the thumbnail made it look like the sunflower was gonna insta kill the wither

​@@Alden_RedstonerYep. Anything summonable, item entities, and mobs get killed instantly by /kill, ignoring all i-frames. Even the player in creative can be killed with kill @s (only exception to players is killing another in creative using kill @e)

programing and command consoles feel like spelling so...

DO NOT stand in the path of the wither. It won't go into the trap if you are blocking the path to the portal. I just stood as far to the side as I could to place the last wither head and It's worked every time.

@@White_Wxlf I’ve done it like 10 times in the switch, only escaped when I was in the way. I do it from the top.

If you don’t have mycelium or podzol, the blue and red dirt from the Nether will work for the mushroom

You can also tower up 10 or so blocks directly above a piece of dirt/grass, making a 3×3 platform centred above it

Do the 2x2 spruce trees not leave behind a huge patch of podzol on bedrock? Could just bring some dirt and 4 saplings to make a spruce tree, then make a dirt path to the needed spot for the muchroom with 3 block clearance to bonemeal a spruce tree. That's only if you don't have silk touch to bring some podzol from home...

This legit works on Bedrock! I'm on PS4 Minecraft survival and I'm grinding wither like no tomorrow 💪🤣

For anyone trying this: I recommend trying in a creative world first

still works like a charm in 1.20! just remember to be a few blocks away when placing the wither heads so you won't get in the way of spawning and let the wither escape :D

Worked perfectly as you advised. I tried it in creative first, forgot the obsidian, and the wither got free. Built in my survival world and worked perfectly. Thank you!

You dont need a sunflower if you have coords turned on, if when you walk forward and the X coord goes down (X, Y, Z) then you are heading west

This was short, simple and easy to build. Great tutorial :)

Useful tip: if u dont have any pozdol or sunflower you can just use the coordinates, if the x si going negative that means that u r going west, if the z goes negative u r going north

This use to be the trick to obtaining the portal block in survival, spawn the wither there and when blows up it'd drop the nether portal block, it back be placed but does work as a portal in the over world or even the end. It's just an indestructible decorative block. I've built a maze out of it in my survival world. It's definitely unique

The center end bedrock pillar method still works too- topside. On a server, the gateway method is probably better- less damage to the area/ no possible overworld damage.

He keeps escaping!?!?!

Love this wither killer, but the red mushroom never worked for me after a shulker box of bonemeal. If this happens to you, use crimson fungus and crimson nylium and move the block to grow the tree down a few blocks. Worked like a charm.

I have a huge problem with this design silent, and idk if what i think is happening is actually happening, but spawning in the wither in that fashion, i feel as tho my character gets in the way, being between the wither and the gateway, and pushes the wither outside of the trap. This happened on my last world and now i have a wither lost somewhere... just a warning, try to keep distance when spawning it in? This design does work, but this is the only thing u have made silent that im actually finding problems with

@@silentwisperer i guess i should have clearified that i did, i wasnt standing directly in the way and only as close as i needed to be to place the skulls from the side and the wither still escaped...i tested it in creative like 10 times before i tried it in survival and since creative worked fine i tried it and lost to the wither.... just saying that anyone attempting this should always be prepared for a fight just in case

mine wasnt working either, i tried in creative mode and you can spawn the wither the opposite way so its facing away from the portal gate. i got it to work with a small platform right next to the gate and spawning it the opposite way worked fine. that was in creative mode im attempting it in survival again to see if this one will work. also to add i believe the endermen around him may somehow push him out so i’ll be building a room around it so hopefully nothing else will hit him

It works 1.20, you don’t need to put obsidian on the top, only on the bottom.😊

And then stay forever in the end cities. (Don't forget that you destroyed the portal)

first off there are multiple portals, second the void isn't really another dimension, it's still part of the end, so if you travel to coordinates 0 0 you'll find the end portal with the obsidian towers

ok why the hell is a 60 second short much easier to understand than a 3 minute long video with the same strat

I built this recently and had trouble with the mushroom growing having used a stack of bonemeal. i cleared nearby Corus Fruit trees and it grew straight away then to break the portal. I dont know if the close proximity of the corus trees effected the mushrooms growing or i was just unlucky.

The Wither on bedrock edition is on steroids.

The wither finna be having a bad time for once

end of 2023 and still works like a charm. You gotta stay far away from it when you place the skull and hit it atleast once for the achievement.

This was great, thank you! It worked just fine for me, though I screwed up the first time and didn't make the spawn platform long enough. So now I have a half dead wither hanging around in the bottom of the void LOL. But the 2nd one worked perfectly.

I built this and well for those who wanna know if you can spawn multiple wither at the same time…I wouldn’t recommend

The farm does not work anymore, I'm on bedrock ver 1.20.12. The wither slides out the trap each time.

I've been wanting to get a beacon (and maybe the achievement...) but I was always so scared to do it. Now I can do this trick for the beacon and when I'm stronger I can actualy fight it

For me the under the main portal method is better "for me" cuz its pretty ez to do in survival

I've seen this way of doing it. The next thing i'm going to try is pitting it against the warden then getting the hell out of dodge

I placed mine under the end portal where the dragon spawns. Was super easy.

Obsidian broke then he escaped

You can easily grind withers! but theres no way back💀 you can go 1000 blocks back to ender dragon island

or when you are in the end, clear out enough room right under the bedrock portal and place a reverse T facing WEST or it wont work. when you make the wither contraption it must be lying on obsidian and one obsidian must be at the back.

Someway didn't work for me, had to fight the wither lol. All I had to do was hide underground and the endermen got him to half health bar

@@silentwisperer i did this on realms and it was a little laggy. I figured that might have been a factor. But I'd had it happen like 3 times in about 60 kills. I found the method under the world portal more consistent, and convenient locationally.

Someone needs to tell this guy the definition of "automatically".

For those trying it still on bedrock, this no longer worksthe mushroom doesnt break the portal.

Here's a faster way it takes 32 seconds: First you need a trident with impaling enchantment then spawn the wither in the middle of the ocean and just need to fly and attack it :)))

This no longer works. Did everything as instructed in the video and the Wither didn’t go inside the bedrock

make sure your spawning it on the right side, also keep in mind this is only for bedrock edition:) i have a newer tutorial using the bedrock floor of the overworld thats a bit easier to get working too

To anybody that is doing this PLEASE Stay as close as possible to the soul sand pile. Bc It will escape when you dont do that

make sure you spawned it on the correct side and with all the blocks in the right place

It didn't work for some reason but its either because I stood too close to it or it was the platform I built under it to catch the nether star

For me it doesnt work anymore even on bedrock.. the wither cheats and chooses to use noclip

Quick warning about this farm: the wither can still damage you

if your on bedrock good luck it hurts bad aswell

How do you go overworld

this works great, but don't make the same mistake i did and leave the wither before it's dead. when i returned it had escaped, im assuming because i had left the game simulation distance and when i came back into range he just glitched out of there

or you can do the same thing under the place where the dragon pearches and save that portal

I've stood in the way of the spawning Wither and I've forgotten to replace the obsidian caps between uses. Oops.

Well i found out why the obsidian is so crucial for this dont make the same mistake as me and check to see if the wither destroyed it before reusing it🤦‍♂️i know have a wither reeking havoc around my end dimension

Use a cross to trap the wither I like it

my wither just spawned outside of the trap
