I haven't seen anyone else mention this so I thought I would. So, I realized that Sans is using what Papyrus wrote about his spaghetti : "You'll be so busy eating it, you won't realize that you aren't progressing". Whenever we heal ourselves with items, we waste a turn by not attacking and, thus, not progressing the battle. Sorry, if this was obvious to some of you. I thought it was a cool little detail :)

Pro tip: this is actually really helpful I kept dying on his spinning gaster blasters so I decided to use a sea tea to speed me up during that attack and as soon as I replaced a legendary hero with it I instantly won against sans so use a sea tea when he says “my special attack, sound familiar, well after the next move I am going to use it

a tip for switch players, you have a joystick and directional buttons, use them. For attacks where you have to move your soul more freely use the stick and for attacks with small controlled jumps use controlled button presses, that way you won't drift into the bones. And never ever use a drifting joycon ;)

Use the cloudy glasses with the torn notebook. It dose help with damage. You could even survive the first attack by doing nothing

I already struggled with Undyne the Undying so horribly, idk what to do 💀

Matt Wells I don’t think it does. The arrow keys on the switch always work. I haven’t tested it out, but I don’t think disconnecting it from the console does anything.

If you're struggling with sans final attack, use a Sea Tea that thing helped me a LOT. I had like 30 hp for the final attack but I already drank the Sea Tea before. The gaster blaster spin, ez.

i play on a samsung tablet, so the gamepad controls are so small for me to fight sans properly :/

so basically my friend started genocide on my switch and i was like "why not finish it for her?" so i did the remaining monsters in waterfall + undyne (undyne took 28 tries) when i got to hotland i was extremely nervous and guilty for killing the monsters in the game. i knew the sans battle was hard despite never doing genocide until now. after killing mettaton in one hit and scaring flowey, i arrived at the judgment hall and OH MY GOD I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MUCH RESPECT FOR A FICTIONAL SKELETON MAN EVER IN MY LIFE anyway thanks for the tutorial on how to kill skelly boi

Holding down all the arrow keys didn't work for me and I died I guess to beat Sans, all I need to do is put a little more backbone into it edit: Finally beat Sans, this video helped a lot.

When I first tried a genocide run a few years ago I died to the last gaster blasters. I quit and did another pacifist run. I recently thought I wanted to play this game again and am now fighting sans again, but I really suck. Thank you for this guide, I hope I will learn how to deal with certain attacks better from now on

I was giving up on the fight but after this video i got filled with determination.

I love how the first attack is the opposite of the last attack; the first attack causes many kills whereas the last attack can’t even deal damage.

well the system is the problem, if you're on a weak pc, or laptop, there is a high chance you can only press *_3_* arrows at once, so the trick does not work, but you could bind wasd to move in undertale, on any computer it will work with wasd.

This helped so much! I was at his attack right before he uses his special attack! :D

Small note for Achilles Heel: you don’t have to move to the right/ left you can also do it by standing/ sitting in the place your heart spawns in at and take small jumps when the bones come.

0:30 I actually beat Sans with all Legendary Heros in my inventory, and it was a real challenge.

And if you do happen to corrupt your Pacifist runs, then I've actually uncorrupted them, but I only know how to do it on PlayStation 4. Here's how you do it: 1. Go to the home top menu. 2. Open the Settings. 3. Choose Application Saved Data Management. 4. Select Undertale. 5. Press Options on your controller then on the menu that just opened, press delete. 6. Select Undertale again. 7. Press Delete. 8. You've uncorrupted your Pacifist runs! You will have to do another Neutral run, but if you hate Chara taking over Frisk in Toriel's house, then it'll be worth it.

Side note: If the megalovania music kinda makes you uneasy and tense, plug in headphones to another device and put on calming sounds or music and just mute the computer, it helped me wonders because I got very tense while Megalovania played in the background
