@@one-nu2dh You look like you never encountered those, they are much more faster than slugcat, so fast that if it finds you on an open terrain and no place to hide, you will be absolutely dead in three seconds

You made me remeber the time i killed a daddy long legs as spearmaster and spend at least 30 minutes trying to kill it

Storytime: My friend and I were playing Rainworld LAN Co-op as Hunter and Spearmaster. We were below Five Pebbles and stumbled upon a daddy long legs. We had an explosive spear but didn't want to use it so we spent probably 30-45 minutes making spears and throwing them at this daddy long legs. There were so many spears that the game began to lag and my friend (playing hunter) was able to frame perfect grab a spear from me, transition to the next screen, throw the spear into the daddy long legs just as he got on the other side of the transition, transition back to me, and grab the spear again. I was barely able to keep pace making spears and all I had to do was hold one button. I don't remember how he found out but I think the count was 83 spears at the end of it. We still had to use an explosive spear to actually kill it. The 83 other spears just disabled all the limbs and did occasional damage if it hit the core instead. Good times.

Oh i forgor to metion that nuke can kill it too, and the spore puffs

note: the dll can still absorb you after it's dead

There are spore bombs which are very deadly to the bugs like centipedes, it's a really great way to kill Red Centipede

yea

tbh when i encounter them i run like a bitch i only actually atack them as sm or inv because food ... and because you need a lot of spears to kill a red centipede, wich is rare in a normal playthrough

Spore puffs all day for the red centi. Things like DLLs though, I find are better left alone if you don't have explosives
