Thanks so far the engine Idol to 9 works for me.

My company truck shuts off under 90°f outside. What I did was paint a soda can black, cut off the bottom, and taped it over the ambient air sensor. Looks funky. But it tricks the sensor into thinking it's over 100° when it's only like 80°.

Buy some hot hands packets and strap it the under part of the arm under of the driver side mirror there is a little nipple there. Wrap a towel over and the truck should remain running if the company has a minimum idle temp like 70 degrees it will stay on

My company truck is supposed to idle below 40 degrees. It's 31 degrees outside now. But after sitting still for an hour or so, the temperature reads 42 degrees!!! And then the truck shuts off!!! I hate these f**k-in companies and their penny pinch-in bull💩!!!!

Tractor brakes release is keeping my truck running for 30 minutes and if I keep the RPM to 900 that’s took over a quarter of my gas tanks for a night 10-12 hours. I wish I could have Kenworth

It was idling in it's own for the first 2 days...

Waste more fuel to get around the engine idle shutdown. The people who design freightliners are geniuses.

Idleing isn't the problem. The problem is, when you're idling, your truck will eventually regenerate all by itself. Where it jacks up the RPM and gets the engine so hot that it burns the soot from the diesel particulate filter. Yes, you can also do it manually. BUT the truck will regen all by itself at random times of the day and night. It'll wake you up out of a cold dead sleep and piss off your neighbors. There's only 1 way around it and that's to invest in a generator. So that you don't have to idle your truck to stay cool or warm in the night. I drive a 2020 cascadia and this is why I absolutely hate this truck. If you figure out a way around that? You let me know.

Lol just scrunch up fabric and wedge it on the gas pedal side close to the keep rpm below 800 rpm it’ll really stay on forever till u run out of diesel lol

Your temp shows it was already at 76 deg. All FL should idle over 69
