So the thumbnail says “dreadhawks” but this method could be done on any style! I sorta can’t believe I hadn’t thought to do this sooner. I’m sure others do this all the time, but I wanted to make this to share with those like me who didn’t think of it until now!

Omg so I just started watching your channel and I shave my head similarly and wanted to ask if you've heard of a self-cut-system? If so ignore me from here but it's 3 hinged mirrors you can hang like on the back of your bathroom door so you have both hands free to hold hair and shave any angle easily- they are spendy to buy but there are a couple of tutorials for cheap diy versions (which is how I made mine lol) It's so much easier to get your lines crisp quickly and less annoying because I shave my head like 3 times a month lol

If you get a silk scarf and wrap your hair at night it'll help with the frizz and fly aways. A silk pillow case is also a life saver.

@@ekunina5410 depends, some people like nice and neat dreads some people like the frizzy natural look. If you want your dreads to grow you'll have to take care of them like any other style. Just preference.

Rights it’s probably from her shaving a little more off every time. Whenever I get my hair shaved sometimes I shave some of the hair that’s up in a bun off

I personally think it looks better with the sides a little grown out. But I mean hey it’s your hair, whatever makes you feel good.

i don't usually dig dreads but after watching your videos i've come to actually like them. They look soooo good on you and honestly, i would even try dread extensions myself just to try it out!

First off I love your hair second off I don't know if anyone has said this but if your not digging the bangs even at that length I think you could install some dreads in them. I had hair maybe an inch and yeah you can't braid them in but you can still connect them and they look good. Just thought you'd like to know!!!

Noone talks about what a terrible process shaving sides is, feels so nasty. Props to you keeping up with it, props to you keeping up with braid in extensions, like i got the real dreadlocks and I could never stand to sit there and re-braid them in every month.

Mack Wylder 1.2mm/16 gauge or 1.6mm/14 gauge is likely to be the width and you'll find someone can easily go between the two; like I can even though I usually only wear 1.2mm. The size of the actual jewellery will depend on the wearers personal preference so unfortunately I can't take a guess at that for you. Hope it helped 😊

I m searching for a big advice. I m thinking on get dreadlock like this next summer but I got a full hair head (does this make sense? I hope yes) and they re 28 inches. So..my questions are: it would be confortable to have the dreacklocks on me head? they keep hot? I would be glad to hear other's experience :)

Hey guys I just did my first faux dread install on myself and it came out pretty good. But, I am strugglinggg with the rubber bands snapping. So, I bought some non stretch thread but I can't seem to tie it on myself while keeping the hair tight. (I don't have anyone to help unfortunately.) Also, lots of frizz. So I'm investing in a silk pillowcase. I'm also having a hard time getting used to not washing my hair as often (I'm super oily naturally). So I am looking at different products to help keep me fresh feeling. Any friendly recommendations or tips would be so helpful!! (I am going to cross post this comment on one of her other videos as well to see if I can get more tips.)

U should get black or clear rubber bands for hair to keep them from snapping--- you should be able to get them at a hair store or dollar store & if you need you can always double up with the rubber bands to prevent the snapping. As for the greasiness of hair I only ever use dry shampoo on my roots of my bangs (which are not dreaded), I am normally used to dry damaged hair so I am not sure how to deal with refreshing of the hair which is dreaded. Hope this helps
