Sheets anad pillows on the floor are a no no. You just put them back on the bed. They pick uo stuff from the floor Get an ottoman bench the length of the bed foot and placed the linen when you take them off there. The floor is dirty especially if it's carpeted and sheets should never be shuck. You are shakng the dusts all over the room. Dust falls to the floor from the vents. That's how furnice works. It takes the dust through the vents then recycles it thorugh the return vents, You can't see the dust in the carpet but it's there. you are using toomuch chemicals in the homes. ALl that sprayng is not goof for lungs especially if there are children. They can develop asthma. You also washed the sink then used the same cloth to wipe the counter tops, that's a no no. You just spread germs from the sink unto the counter tops with the same rag, The counter tops are cleaner than the sink. It should be cleaned first. A diffrent cloth should be used for both preferable two different colors. Otherwise it's refreshing to see a clean home. I'm a clean freek too. but I learn to clean from the cleanest surfaces first to the dirtiest.

In regards to the bamboo ziplock organizer, those little “zips” get placed parallel to the plastic & foil slits and are used to cut your portion off. The stickers are probably just a promotional extra since the product material is bamboo.

I am a new viewer too. I watched this one video and am hooked. I worked full time for 47 years. I, too, have neglected inside of my home, because I was mentally exhausted by the end of the day. I lost my elderly mother in 2001, and was in charge of everything. After a year, I was starting to declutter. Then my significant other was diagnosed with cancer December 2002. Taking him to his treatments last Winter & sitting at the hospital from May until he passed in July 2023. Being in mourning took a toll on me, and I have just started to take a lot to Good Will. It’s a daunting task now, but I am going to get this done! God sent your KZread video to me when I really needed it. I will be following your channel! Thank you. You are a blessing in my life.

Bless you. I try to keep up with my house and I care for my 94yo mother in her townhouse. But she wont let me hardly touch anything and always rather talk and says we’ll do it tomorrow. Tomorrow has been four years now. I declutter by sneaking into her house when I know she is asleep. You are truly an angel to the caregiving you gave and kept your chin up and proceed on.❤

I live alone after 42 yrs of marriage and house full of children and not all were my own! And I cooked and cleaned 24/7 365 and held a professional full time job. Cleaning is my jam, it relaxes me and having a clean, organized well maintained home is so very important. Honestly watching ppl. Clean is so therapeutic for me. When busy and short on time, focusing on keeping those high traffic areas clean makes a huge difference in the feel of cleanliness of the home. ie: Every evening before bed, loading and running the dishwasher, clearing the counters, wiping them down, and quickly running the vacuum over the floors, with a final removal of the trash bin sets us up for a less chaotic morning getting off to work. ❤ Can you tell us your favorite cleaning products? I'm interested in the glass cleaner you used for the mirrors. Thanks so much!

And decluttered and fully cleaned our main bath. Still lots to do to catch up, I’ve really fallen off in the past few weeks and it shows terribly. I love this. I love that you mention you need to have your home in a state of organization first. I have battled for years to keep on top of everything and have never felt like a clean person. It took me so much effort to get the basic stuff done that only once every few months would anything more get done (like dusting, cabinet fronts, showers et cetera. Which i am not proud of. Recently i have been listening to podcasts by "the minimalists" and its helped me so much to get around the psychology of why i keep things in my home that make my life hard and to do some serious decluttering. Im proud of myself for having got rid of 10 garbage bags of donations in the last few weeks as well as even more "garbage" (not literal trash just non donatable items that aren't in perfect condition) and i feel so light, organised, tidy and free. I woudlnt dread company showing up (though i still do need to do the initial big cleans for things like walls, high dusting, windows, baseboards, deep cleaning linoleum and so on. I have my bathroom fit for maintenance cleans now and do a morning and evening wipe down. I have 4 cats, 4 sons and 2 dogs so i really do have to clean a lot. A lot more than i have been. Everyones always had clean litter trays, clean food bowls and water fountains, and clean bedding and couches. Id like to be able to pull my vacuum out daily or get a Roomba which would be a dream. Thanks for inspiring me.

Denise, I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having sadness. I’ve been there… life can be tough. My advice would be to figure out to navigate your sadness meaning, what exactly are you sad about? Once you pinpoint that, you can then begin to fix it. Cleaning is VERY therapeutic. I can almost promise you that if start to clean as you navigate that sadness, get some systems going for all of your stuff, clean, shine and make things around your home smell good… YOU ARE GOING TO FEEL BETTER and super proud of yourself🩷 Also, what state are you located?

Four adults living in the home, one 2-year old, one dog, one cat, all 4 bathrooms being used regularly, lots of laundry, and too much stuff in this house! Stephanie, I now wipe down everything before putting it back in the cupboards/wardrobes/pantries etc. I cannot believe how fresh everything is starting to look, just with a simple wipe down with a damp cloth and a bit of all purpose cleaner on it.. Idk why I never did it before. Everything is sparkling. Some of the bottles/containers didn't even look dirty and they still came out different, and others I couldn't believe how oblivious I was to the dirt stuck on. You're changing my life and my home, slowly but surely. Thank youuuuu so so much. I think a damp cloth will be permanently with me at all times 😂♥️ also, I'm still noticing more and more stuff that needs to be cleaned and I do so much extra cleaning everyday. My step count is at 13,000 on the daily.

I *HAVE* to clean on a schedule because I’m lazy. Giving myself instructions motivates me. From small tasks like taking out the trash and watering my plants to big jobs like washing windows and cleaning the refrigerator, *every single task* is on a schedule. A few things work in my favor: 1. I like entertaining. 2. Shoes are not allowed in my house. 3. I don’t have carpet. 4. I don’t have pets. One thing works against me: 1. I am a maximalist. There’s a lot of stuff in my house so I have to do a lot of dusting.😭

I just found your channel and the timing was wonderful. I am now retired, and now I can devote real time and energy to take pride in my home and in keeping it clean. I always felt so inadequate about my home and how it was not organized and cleaned as well as I wanted it to be. Earlier years, while working full time, being a single mom, I enjoyed everything as much as possible, but I always felt a shame in my mind because my home was not what it should have been. For now, I do have pets, but having the time to clean has made such a difference. And videos like yours, teach and remind us that an established process actually saves us time. Your home is lovely, and I thank you for sharing your knowledge. Have an awesome week and holiday season!😀🥰
