    Hello, I also have the ecodiesel JGC but I don't have the torque tool and torq tools are expensive. Any other alternative tools you can suggest? Also is there any alternatives to the branded spray? Thank you!

    Just get a cheap set off Amazon or your local hardware store. Getting the right tool is cheaper than stripping the screw and having to replace everything.

    Sorry, but - you have the money to buy an EXPENSIVE diesel engined vehicle but can't spare the cabbage to buy the appropriate tools and cleaner?! Perhaps take it to a shop and pay someone else to do the job, no? I don't get it....😅

    Sounds like oil getting into the combustion chamber or a turbo oil leak. Whatever it is it won’t be just cleaning a sensor so get ready for a big bill

    What is map sensor for? does a clean one increase power?

  • @TheEddysGarage

    @TheEddysGarage

    It is the Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor and it tells the computer how much boost the car does or doesn't need. It doesn't add power, get a custom tune for that, but it will help keep your car running right which might get back some lost power.

    Did it 2 days ago without disconnecting the battery. No error codes afterwards, runs smoother and consumption went down at least 0,5l/100 km.
