Aside from the investment in a new skill, the examples you have in the beginning are not helpful at all, as you will fall back on relying on a singular source of income. Economic investment is a means to achieve independence from your job. It's not necessary to become rich, but it is a means for stability and more choice of where to put it. This can't really be the only ways to invest in a halal way, can it? That's just depressing

Try to search for shariah-compliant investing on the internet. It is actually not that hard to find halal investment opportunities. There are many Islamic organizations that have come up with a portfolio of Shariah-compliant stocks to invest in, these stocks are stocks like Nike, Tesla, and others. Try to do some more research if you really are interested in investing your money in a halal way. And Allah knows best.

Assalaam alaikum ya akhi, Please can you make a video on what to do with one's money in a world which is fast becoming cashless? If one has saved £1000 or even more than that, but you know that it will become just bits of paper very soon at the rate in which they are pushing the cashless agenda, what can we do that wont take control away from us? By that I mean, money in the bank will become digitized, just a number, which they can wipe away at the touch of a button. And money in one's hand will become nothing but paper. So what options do we have? If its not enough to buy property or other tangible asset, would you recommend buying gold? But the latter wont help you pay the bills or buy groceries...? Please do a video on this. Thanks much.

I’m 18 Alhamdullilah and have quite a bit of capital. I’ve learnt that briefly because bitcoin is a currency which isn’t physical nor backed by a commodity it’s not allowed islamically. Yet, one day sooner or later the digital currency will become our form of payment. Thus, if the intention is to safeguard your wealth from inflation and invest in Bitcoin with the foresight that the £ or the $ will collapse it’s seen as being okay.
