Mine are all green side out. I think it's because when I use a scramble generator it's standard to have white up green front, so they are ready to pick up and scramble. Also OCD.

I came up with a method I like to call FLFOP First you make two squares on the left and right of the cube kind of like Roux except the front 4 pieces wich is F2S (first two squares) next you solve the DB and FDedge wich solves the line in the middle and then you solve the rest like normal CFOP with f2l being really easy since the two f2l slots left are in the front and sometimes f2l can be entirely 3 gen only needing R, U and L moves

I like starting solves as if it were roux, and once the two blocks are built, I solve the first 2 layers by placing the last two remaining white peices (can be done in 2-4 moves), and then oll pll. I like the fact that having the middle layer free when doing f2l pairs allows way better inserts and no rotations.

I invented this method called the Owen's method or the 3S / SSS method: Separation --> Solve --> Solve. You see all the 10 pieces that go on one side with patterns and solve the edges and then the other side the same way ( there can be parity cases in your first half ). I don't know all the amount of cases there are YET. It is only 3 steps.

Some random method my friend came up with: L6 1. Belt 2. Cross 3. Top cross 4. F2L 5. 2look oll (my friends said "2 look because the 5 steps before will give you a top cross solved") 6. Pll Overall this method isn't that good since it's basically just cfop but extra useless steps to make the top cross, also I think they kinda named it L6 because L is the start of my name, and 6 because there are 6 steps

Long before I watched this video, I came up with a method like the belt method, but actually decent Solve 1 side (yes, actually a side) Solve the belt using beginners method OLL (Occasional PLL parity fix using M2 U2 M2) PLL flip cube PLL A more advanced run would be 4 white edge orientation Pseudo F2L to solve belt OLL PLL + Parity flip PLL Another method I made up, which I’m very sure has been done many times Make 2 roux blocks Insert bottom layer edges OLL PLL

Step 1, solve entire first layer. Step 2, solve two edge pieces at a time (two algorithms to do from a set of 20 will solve all second layer cubelets, reduced from the usual 4 that need to be done), solve the last layer from the traditional CFOP methods, IF you learned 1LLL, one algorithm solves the entire last layer. The result is intuitive solving for the first layer and if you can learn 1LLL, a maximum of three algorithms to solve the rest of the cube. For this kind of optimized solve, you need to learn and recognize when to use 4025 algorithms. I developed the method, but am nowhere near 1LLL yet.

You can create algorithms for new cubes by doing a bunch of random moves and tracking the pieces. Also I found it is very important to solve the different piece types in the right order. That way you don't need to worry about looking for an alg that preserves specific pieces which you could also simply solve later. Also if you want to create your own Algorithms from scratch using commutators/conjugates here is a Professor of Mathematics who explaines just that :D kzread.info/dash/bejne/X4KAmZiugbLWeZM.html As for the cool method I have invented: You can solve the entire cube with only the sledgehammer and nothing else. Even better, this method works for most other twisty puzzles as well! (kzread.info/dash/bejne/gmqorLJxlNXVnM4.html ) also very neat pencil tricks!
