Thanks for making this short and sweet. Finally someone who gives a quick how-to without self felicitation. And IMO the Davinci model is allright. Just requires you to prompt it a bit more concise but also gives you more to the point “answers” than the overly helpful chatgpt model.

Great than I can have direct access to chatGPT, but like the others.. I can not use it like a voice assistent :( hopefully this bug will be fixed soon

Hi Metin, Thank you for the great content! I used to use it since a week and currently it has been stopped. Shortcut receives the query but no reply. Reply is a empty text. Could you please check? It would be worth to use such a great shortcut! Thank you for the huge effort.

I picked up the “Hey Alfred” shortcut from your Description (was not in App Store). Next, I got a new “key” and pasted it into the proper place in the shortcut. But, my iPhone does not respond to the voice command: “Hey Alfred”. I must say “Hey Siri” first, then respond to the Siri “uh Hu” with “Hey Alfred”. Am I missing something? Cannot the iPhone listen for commands other than “Hey Siri”? Thanks

Most likely he has the setting "Press Side Button for Siri" enabled. That means he holds the power button down until Siri pops up and then he says "Hey, Alfred". When put together seamlessly, it looks like Siri pops up when you say "Hey, Alfred" but you can tell that this is not the case and that he's using the button because the Siri icon appears BEFORE he says "Hey, Alfred". It's a nice QoL trick to use in order to avoid having to say "Hey, Siri! Hey, Alfred". I don't know anything about what he said in the other reply about OpenAI's API. If you are still experiencing issues it might be that 🤷‍♂. I hope this was helpful.

Oh that‘s a good one from Jadon, William and it‘s true. I hold down the side button and say „Hey Alfred“. However, the shortcut doesn‘t seem to work properly anyways. I have to go through it and will make an update video this week.

Your shortcut actually doesn’t work tho…

I set up everything and my shortcut seems to only work if i click on it and enter text (doesn't respond to the voice prompt). and it only responds with text, no voice. any ideas?

I just started to have the same issue. I‘ll look for a solution. I know that they have updated their APIs so maybe that‘s the reason. I‘ll come back to you Gregory.

That is true. I tried many times different approaches. I guess, it's because ChatGPT App is now available for iOS worldwide.
