I believe air needs to get in is that right? I'm converting a shed with one wall like this,I'm spray foaming roof but my man said build away from stone wall?

@@darrenmuso2621 That would be my guess, but for years lots of folks have spray foamed right over old stone foundations and they state no issues. There doesn't seem to be clear info on it. But having the air gap does make sense to me. The downside is space, inspection, and maintenance.

Typically the wall crumbles because it retains moisture and pushes the lime out. Unless you seal both the exterior and then the interior. From what I've read.

See even if just for the video ! Looks perfect now P.P.E and all, great work the foam is buttery

How were the walls prepared prior to this application?

They were brushed down to remove the loose debris then vacuumed with a shop-vac before we sprayed them.
