Just wanted to jump in and say thanks so much for all the instruction and free education you give. I've learned more from you than I have anyone else about PS over the years and I appreciate it so much. Also, I have watched a few other videos recently where the artist continually flattens their layers and I'm just like, 'noooooo! do it nondestructively!!' so thanks especially for that tip.

Thanks for pointing out the new delete and fill. A trick I learned is the selection is always a little too tight... so after selection I use Select/Modify/Expand... I usually use 2-5 pixels and it did a much better job of getting rid of the house.

What happened to Phlearn PRO? I'm a PRO subscriber. I haven't seen an update in about three months. It doesn't seem right. I've tried asking through the website's customer service page, but the SUBMIT MY QUESTION button doesn't even work. Am I missing something?

You are absolutely right and great points. Photoshop does improve with every version, which makes our lives a lot easier, but we have also created a set of tools for us to use and now offer to others which take great tool like photoshop and improve the workflow. So together it is making editors such as yourself and others, unstoppable. Thank your for sharing your knowledge and skill.

I just tried the technique right now with 2 baskets of fruit surrounded by other fruit and I was able to delete all the surroundings in black. I did have to use paint brush and clone brush to clean up around the fruit and baskets. Fruit was inside a store at the South Seaport in the Tin Building NYC. Thanks for this

Don't know if you ever got an answer, but did some looking and found that if you right click on the layer and rasterize it, the content aware fill isn't grayed out anymore.

This is not working on my computer. I have updated Photoshop, but when the object is selected and I hit alt delete, the selection is simply "blacked out"--it is not removed. Do you know why this is happening?

Love your videos Aaron! I have a question that I have not been able to get an absolute answer on. I have been a Bridge/PS/CR user for some time. After the latest update, I decided to give LR a try in place of Bridge and CR. The problem is I have developed a bundle of key words over the years and cannot find a way to migrate them to LR. The guy has no knowledge of photoshop. All these features were available before, there's nothing new here. All you had to do was expand the section, content aware fill - set these steps as an action, and assign the action to an F key. It was better because it was more customisable, because you could set the amount of expand you needed . Are you a paid bot by any chance? I fail to see the logic of this man, whatever he learns he claims to forget. Seems he's more about making clickbait videos than actually trying to inform anyone of anything. This comments section is weird and unexplainable. Every time I see one of his videos I just think "you cant seriously be that misinformed AND claim to be an expert in photoshop "

Delete and fill does not work in PS version 24.1. I uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled and it still doesn't work. I finally installed version 24.0.1 and it works just fine. I wonder why adobe removed this feature in version 24.1?

You are a wonderful instructor! Thank you so much for all the wonderful videos you make! You are so very helpful. However, Photoshop still needs to work a bit on that feature before we can say we can get rid of anything with one click 😅 !

Why my Opt+Delete not working_ Photoshop 23, I selected as it should be. Why why why?!

Same. Just fill the selection with black.

When I do the Option Delete on my Mac the selection turns black. When I do Shift Delete it works. Have you had this issue? I am using Photoshop Beta.

I see a ton of videos on gow to do this on a computer but i don't have a computer, just a tablet and i can't figure out how. Nobody seems to have any videos on using photoshop or lightroom on a tablet.

I have updated my PS in all the ways I can and it has not given me any 2023 updates. It doesn't give me an Object Selection Tool and its so frustrating because I am missing out on all the amazing abilities to be creative!! SUGGESTIONS/ HELP would be greatly appreciated.

Assanine comment. Apart from being a very short video if Aaron only showed 'one click' he would, to paraphrase an often used quote " Show how to press one click and they would know how to do that. On the other hand, teach somone the reasoning and they will learn the how, why, what and when.
