OK Jeff. Is the note stating to put the spacers on the bottom of the spring to correct the fact that you put them on the top?

Change: put the spring spacers on the cartridge spring stop, not in the fork cap.

Thanks! Mine is a bit harsh on small bumps or square edge, what should I try? I'm pretty much as soft on compression as I can, would I need more preload on the spring?

Hello: 5mm of preload is considered a neutral setting and changes in preload only have a small effect on harshness. I suspect your valving needs changed a little. Did you purchase the Luckys from us or from MX Tech? I ask because we use different settings.

Make sure the front forks have good alignment also.

@@scp8412 So my forks were very stiff when I did the preload per the instructions. I basically just put the smallest spacer down below the spring and removed the others. Forks feel night and day better. Might try reducing your preload

@@hudscp so there is a decent gap between spacer and spring when fully extended? Might need to try that

Lucky kit or ravens kit?? Best for the money is ravens much better

Both are great. If you like to work on your own suspension, the Lucky is much easier to work on than the Raven.
