How can I get a game running in this virtual box? I have a game I can’t play and I think it’s because it was meant for older systems since it came out in 2008. I had done some research and I think opening it in a virtual box may fix this issue

i didn't use the download manager and it took a bit, but i don't know how big the difference would be with it, prob should've used it...

I could install firefox even without installing guest additions in internet explorer. I went on the bitly link.

You can use it without a product key. You just can’t use areo theme

late response but quite literally anything you want it works like a real vista

Firefox wont open at all and i tired to reinstall and that did not work

So I have already went through the installation of Windows Vista, however when I checked the themes, there was no option for Windows Aero and the W.E.I was 1.0. Do you know if there is a fix for this?

you do realize you can make a quick ova for us? (.ova is an extracted installaiton of a virtual machink for only vb i think)

It's not activated. But you can still use the OS as long as you want.

With your VM off go to the settings then display and make sure that the graphics adapter is set to VBoxSVGA and 3D acceleration is checked. Now bump the video memory to 256mb. In vista go to control panel > personalization > window color and appearance then select Windows Aero as the color scheme. Note that the performance of the VM will probably slow down quite a bit.

But I think it's due to setting generation newer which is UEFI Vista doesn't support use the Bios instead not UEFI
