Yeah I also do that, all my data is on other drives so just to make windows feel responsive and remove temp files, I reinstall windows.

Why not start the setup.exe from within windows 10 directly ? It will give you the exact same options...

Why dont you install after you mount iso file ? Windows can be installed from hard disk drive directly.

If you reinstall it will keep your old files (its called oldwindows file or something in your drive windows is installed in)

@@Vaprium Yes as long as you previously had windows, if you have a brand new pc you built you will need a usb. but if your reinstalling windows you won’t need an usb since your previous windows had the windows installer so you can use that to reinstall windows.

@@ashutoshthakur8118check your bios man, hit delete on your keyboard make sure your bios is even picking it up, could be a bios setting or faulty SSD or just loose cables , PSU cable to the drive and SATA cables should be connected from the motherboard to the SSD

The shutdown command is used to shutdown your computer. Example: shutdown -s -f -t 0 Functions -l (Logs off current user) -f (Kills all applications that are running) -s (Turns off the computer) -r (Reboots the computer) -t (Timer to set; in seconds)
