Genuine Honda 72410-SVA-A01ZA Molding This is the part number I used for my car the part number Would very if you had a coupe vs sedan. I would suggest you take this part number and plug it in to eBay or Amazon and there's an option you can choose that says verify this will fit my car and you put in the specifics of your vehicle Hope this helps

For under $10, get a can of plasti dip at home improvement big box stores. Mask the area you want to fix. Cut out the damaged mold. Clean it with rubbing alcohol. Spray the plasti dip. Let it dry and spray additional coating. For best looking results, I would do 3-4 coats. Let it dry in between. 👍

Brett...regarding the piece that you reference at 0:51, I've seen some youtube videos where they bring this back to life using a heat gun. You gotta be careful not to overdo it, but the idea is the gray haze will melt back into the original black material. It's almost like burning away the top layer. I haven't tried it yet, but it's on my to-do list as I continue to update my 2008 Civic. Search youtube and you'll find someone who has done it. On an unrelated note, how much did you spend having that front bumper re-sprayed? That, along with the window molding weather strip, is what's next on my list.

I just removed 20 year old tint on a 1999 Civic ek hatch (1 owner I just bought 😊)... it was a nightmare. I resorted to abrasive chemicals, which worked well, but I took out the window trim near the C pillar and broke one of the old clips, I don’t like body panels to have any sort of play, so I sourced a new (used of course)one from a junk yard outta state. Never owned a Honda before now, and I’m really understanding why they have such loyal buyers.

He took the time to post a helpful video. You could have skipped to the part you wanted to see. Chill out.

I didn’t take it that way at all. Don’t listen to them. If you DO, maybe place a marker (I don’t know the proper name for it) in your video or just mention in your title, the time in your video for the how to portion. Not a big deal. Thanks for the helpful video!
