Got my N to weeks ago really love it and pretty good gas mileage on normal or eco mode. Even in N mode its cool!

A 7/8” chair cap from Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Before you installed this, were you running the stock BOV to vent to atmosphere? If so, did you notice any additional noise? Is there a filter/screen inside the stock one to keep anything from getting inside? Great video!!

Yes we were, and to be honest the noise was very minimal. Maybe in eco mode you can hear it more due to no active exhaust but once it’s open it’s hard to hear it lol. And yes there is a small plastic screen but I wouldn’t worry too much due to the dpv always releasing air and never creating a vacuum to suck anything in. It will always be pushing things away. Even on closure.

I just bought the open SXTH intake, so I was thinking maybe that combined with the removal of that recirc valve hose might give off some really nice sounds, but wasn’t sure if you could run the stock valve without that hose. Good call on it always releasing and not taking in, wasn’t really thinking on that one lol.

@@cyber.e.n lol no worries It may sound a little better since you’ll also be hearing it release through the filter as opposed to us having the oem lid on the oem filter housing.

Think this would sound good on a DCT as well? I'm in the process of ordering their catch can for my N, but this mod sounds really good.

It would but you wouldn’t get any bov noises like a manual would unless your purposely let off the gas.

Do you need a tune for this?

Did you connect stock hose(4mm) from stock BOV to the Sxth's ?

Yes, you need to reconnect the stock vacuum line to the new bov or else it won’t know when to open.

Avg in N mode non less spirited driving we get anywhere between 18-25mpg. Eco mode I’ve got 35mpg

Sxth makes this same bov with the flange to fit on a 1.6t. Check out their website and you will see it listed.

We haven’t done the solenoid upgrade yet. But that is coming soon due to the bov releasing prematurely. And no cel

@@KDMStation Henry, did you guys ever get around to the pierburg solenoid upgrade? I took advantage of boomba’s Black Friday discounts and got their bov and adapter plate/bushings. I forgot about the pierburg upgrade til just yesterday and am looking to pick one up I think from sxth possibly. Can’t find any install vids on an EN so I’m just checking in on u guys to see if it ever happened. Any advice or direction would help, never tackled either of these before. Thnx brutha✌🏽🤘🏽🤙🏽

@@jasenrodriguez9217 sxth and n75 both sell the same kit. We still haven’t picked one up but the nipples will have small numbers by each. And it should come with which connection is each for. But the 3 ports are for cold pipe, intake mani, bov.

It wouldn’t fit. The only option is for an aftermarket company to make the cold side piping bov flange in a different position to allow the hks to fit properly.

Best thing to do is loosen the throttle body coupler and disconnect the cold pipe from the throttle body. And try to use a ratcheting wrench. Makes everything so much easier. Hope you got it 🙏🏽 sorry for the late response.

There is a cap on the hose clamp that exposes a 10mm bolt I believe.

Look up the magnuson v moss act. A dealership has to prove the modification caused the issue.

I’m not a fan of piggyback units. I don’t like the idea of the ecu being tricked into seeing values that aren’t necessarily true. We will more than likely going with SXTH, N75, or Alphaspeed.

Will it void warranty?

They would have to prove this caused the problem. If I had issues I would take this off and take it back to the dealer though. If we were to have issues with the a/c system, electrical, or anything not related to the engine they can’t deny it.
