i genuinely want to give my thanks to you, it finally work after a couple of hiccup especially the android recovery part, alas got to finished it around 1 am lol. Now i can atleast view my digital note and make this ol' tablet as a second monitor

Good Job

I followed this tutorial & currently I am 100% satisfied. Everything works camera, DUO calls, recording & WiFi. Didn't check SIM don't have one! There are following modification I have to make: - Bootloader didn't identify external microsd even when formatted FAT32, so u need to put installation zip files in internal storage using PC connection/USB - My win10 didn't identify tablet so have to install Samsung drivers (then Odin will show COM connection) - Gapps package to be installed should be of year 2020 ...2022 version was well above 400mb. This gave error of low space while installing. - Whenever u restart tablet give it ample time or else camera will not be initiated

Kudos to this channel, really appreciate the tutorial from a-z... My tab was lagging af but after the installation, it runs smooth as heck compared to it's previous condition

Very nice video. I have a question that I hope you can answer. My GT-P5100 entered into bootlop after downloading to it large files using the app WebSharing lite. I would like to flash TWRP recovery following the steps in the beginning of the video to recover data and try to fix it, but I had read in other places that flashing things requires unlocking the bootloader, which would wipe all data. Is that really the case with this tablet or Download mode can be used directly? Is there some additional previous step that I should follow? My device has root access, but I gained root access some years ago using Kingoroot for Windows.

No you don't need unlock bootloader to install TWRP just downlod twrp file for your tablet and odin file then do what you see in the beginning of the video I hope that work for you

hey, I have a old tab 2 (P3100) and i want to use it as my media system as it have bigger screen then my phone and i don't mind watching videos in little less then HD. all i want is it to playback downloaded video/movies, youtube, netflix and maybe some video call(duo). it's working fine on stock but youtube isn't working because android 4.0.3. i have been thing about adding lineage os for youtube and some other stuff which aren't working on it right now. i want to know if this os is stable and i heard gapps makes it slow so if i should install gapps or not? as i can use vanced for youtube and side load other apps. and if anyone know any other rom which is stable? thanks for help

@@laurabezpako8129 temat trochę przestarzały, ale i tak odpowiem, bo właśnie ten sam problem miałem. Przy wejściu w TWRP musisz wcisnąć przycisk włączania. Takie "zabezpieczenie" jakby np. dziecko przypadkiem się do tego dorwało. Mi też tablet stanął na tym etapie. Ekran podświetlony i nic się nie dzieje. Trochę się głowiłem o co chodzi, aż przypadkiem wcisnąłem właśnie ten przycisk :D

Hello, I followed your guide scrupulously and the tablet works, the only thing I don't understand is that after updating it I have serious problems with the wifi that connects and disconnects continuously. Hello. When I go to install the arm-7.1-nano zip file I get an error: 70 Error installing zip file. I can start the tablet with the 7.1.2 but I have the Play Store? Any Idea on what is going on? Thanks

Hi. I have question about software. I have Samsung galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5110 and i did new Lineage OS everything was go ok but. Looks little a bit slow with graphic and when i was install Netflix,Disney TV or KZread apps crashing or on KZread when i play video picture just freeze. Thare is some solution for that ? Maybe some another version will be work better ? Thank you for help. OK i mange to fix i was install another file and now work good sound video etc and normal speed like for that old device.

Can anybody who has successfully install this on their tab 2 10.1 confirm that adoptable storage works? The tab 2 only has 16gb storage and additional internal storage via adapted storage on sd card is needed

it's easy, just go to OpenGApp website and download the right Gapps file

My tablet only accepts the 13cm rom of 2016.

check your phone setting-storage. see if your Sdcard is read by system storage. or try to un-mount Sd card and re-mount it back. in twrp menu choose the "Mount" and then click select storage and choose micro Sd card then click Ok.
