Autozone loan program, it’s free if you return it! Last resort a screwdriver and try to push down using a clockwise motion.

Long nose pliers work just as well.

You didn’t replace the rotor, Do you need to bed-in the new brake pads? Thanks.

The car should be brake tested if available or road tested to ensure correct brake force is achieved, but gradual wearing-in of your brake pads and rotors will be performed through natural driving. The bedding procedure is very similar to normal driving so testing the car after the brake pads replacement is enough. Some applications may required to make a more aggressive break in procedure. I’ll be posting a video soon on how to do it.
