What is going on my dudes!?
Today I'm going to be showing you how to install a PSIO into a Playstation 1
Fat console.
The board I'm working on today is a PU-18 5001 Fat Ps1 console.
Here's all the diagrams for the various boards

For the SD card setup make sure your sd card is formatted to exfat which it should be by default if it's over 32gb.
For the multitrack bin games that you have, you'll need to convert them into a single bin / cue image with disc mage here

I installed mine and now the composite is in B/W only and S-video flickers bad. What can I check to fix it? 7501 board

I bought a PlayStation from eBay and it came with a PSIO. I don't have access to the psio firmware page and PSIO wont help. can you help since you have access? I need the Legacy firmware two files. Arm 2.6.0 and FPGA 02/12/2018

Why? You can hack the classic and have emulators like n64, dreamcast, and even psp on it. That is already way better than what psio offers. Lol!

Naw it only supports models with the parallel Port in the back.

@@5rv9KY Rad! I don’t know but I’m saving it for later! Can’t really tell what’s going on exactly at a glance but it looks like the PSIO is hardwired to the board
You're a rich man if you can afford psio. Eh... even clones of psio are expensive...

I do not recommend buying this device. Games run 50/50. There may be no accompanying music in the game. You will have to spend a lot of time in order to understand why the game does not start, and then monipulate with CUE and BIN files and it is not a fact that this will help. No support! No instructions!
