    I’m way over due to thank Chris for my lift kit on my 2014 Polaris Ranger 900 xp, I found his kit from another KZread channel and ordered from Chris. Super company and product, I spoke with Chris with my questions before I purchased the kit, also spoke with him just before we installed it- fit perfectly, took a little less than a hour to install. Chris also gave me recommendations for what type of wheels and tires I can go with for my sxs- just installed terrebite wheels and tires over this past weekend 28x14x10 tires - thx again Chris for all your help

    I just finished my install. This video is perfect and details the process well. If you’re looking for a lift for your Ranger (mine is a 2019 500 Mid-Size) you seriously should stop here and order. Yes, it costs a bit more than the competitors out there, but the quality, and most importantly the service and support is second to none. I’ve texted him a few times before and during the install with questions and he responds very quickly....even on a Sunday morning. Fellas, bottom line, this is the kit to get.

    My install was on a 16' 570 fullsize, was fighting a little with driver side, ended up taking the brake off, helped big time because the brake line was stretched to tight to get the strut assembly out of the shock tower. FYI, just remove the brake right away. Also need to remove the two headlights.

    Just put this on my 2023 Ranger 570 Full Size. Took about 1.5 hours at a chill pace. Remove headlights first then its easy. Drives fine and smooth as factory. GROUND CLEARANCE on my model is now 13" at front and 12.5 at rear hitch. I would recommend this kit. Also has 26" sunf a033 tires, actually measure 24.75 inches tall. So a actual 26" tire would give even more ground clearance. Also with this model being lifted, from the drivers seat, i wouldnt want to go any higher for aggressive driving., and i did t need wheel spacers. Cant wait to drive it more.

    Chris, I received your lift today. Thanks for the quick shipping. I had the back installed in 15 minutes. However, I've ran in to an issue on the front. I pulled the axle out of where it goes in to the hub. The boot is not torn or anything. But how do you get it back lined up and slid back in to the hub assembly? It's just kind of flopping around.

    I know we talked on the phone already but I still want to answer this in case somebody else reads it. Just finished my install on a '17 570 Midsize Crew, EZPZ installation and the only hiccup was that I pinched the left front brake line whenever I was tightening the upper bolt on the forged strut housing, the line somehow caught between the nut and the strut housing on the backside and totally slipped by my QC during the install and now I need to replace the line ... my own fault. Moral of the story is to pay close attention to detail the entire way through! The install looks great and Chris is great to deal with, 5 stars for sure!

    Do you need to install axle spacers after you have the strut assembly back together to accommodate for the stress added to the axle?

  • @MarshallMotoart1

    @MarshallMotoart1

    5 жыл бұрын

    This is a good question. No axle spacers are need with my kit and there is no added stress because of the way my lift is designed. By having the strut be positioned all the way back down to the original position in the housing we maintain the same axle length and maximum CV angle so that there is no premature wear or damage. We use up some of the excessive droop to achieve lift and maintain good ride quality.

    Hello Casey, On a average we get 2.5" of lift but it can vary a bit depending on spring condition, shock settings, and accessories. The maximum CV angle which is critical for good CV and axle life is consistent and always the same but the amount of lift achieved can vary a bit depending on the things that I mentioned above. My lift kit keeps good ride quality and it is safe for all of your stock drivetrain. Feel free to call me anytime 7 days a week if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks, Chris 801-791-4616

    Does this shorten the suspension travel by 2.5 inches? Will it bottom the suspension out easier now ?

  • @marshallburke2083

    @marshallburke2083

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hello Josh, That is a good question and the answer is no it does not shorten the amount of travel. You still have the same amount of suspension travel and it actually bottoms out less since the suspension now has more up travel available in the front.

  • @MarshallMotoart1

    I am not sure on the hub size. Most of the aftermarket wheels are lug centric so the hub in most aftermarket wheels is oversized and does not affect the fitment in my experience.

    Kind of a sidebar question...I see a lot of axles being damaged/broken on UTV's. I have a 2018 570 Midsize and would love to lift it with your kit and the tires shown on the red Ranger at the end of your video. Does this combination of tires and lift lead to more busted axles? Are there beefier axles that I can purchase or is it more a driver issue than a mechanical one?Thanks for any advice!

  • @MarshallMotoart1

    @MarshallMotoart1

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hello Charlie, Of course you can damage CV's and axles on a stock UTV but if the lift kit is incorrect it will definitely damage CVs and there are unfortunately a number of different lift kits on the market that are causing damage. My kit is totally safe for your stock drivetrain even when combined with the forward a-arms. The key is not to exceed the maximum CV angle that occurs when the suspension is at full droop. This will keep you from having damage or any premature wear. Driving style also has a lot to do with it. The red ranger at the end of my video has forward a-arms and my lift kit with 30 inch tires. This set up works well but it does add a bit of strain to the drivetrain so you definitely want to drive accordingly. They do make stronger axles but my thoughts are to keep the factory axles as the weak link in the drivetrain so that they fail instead of damaging an expensive differential or transmission. They are a lot cheaper to replace an a lot easier than digging into the middle of your machine. Thanks for your interest and I hope this answers your questions. If not send me a message and I will do my best to get you some answers. Thanks, Chris

    Why dont ya’ll make a 3-4” kit for the 570 midsize?

  • @MarshallMotoart1

    @MarshallMotoart1

    2 жыл бұрын

    I do not make a 3-4" lift for it because the stock CV's will not handle that much angle. The strut front suspension would also have some very positive camber. To build a proper 3-4" kit would require a complete rework of the suspension and it would be very expensive. Thanks for your inquiry, Chris

    You'd have to be world class stupid to waste money on lifting a ranger when you're going to need that money to replace the CVT belt and pay for other very costly poorly engineered designs Polaris purposely added to their garbage products.
