this is exactly what i needed, mainly just re-remembering how to add new tools via the dashboard since last time i did it was over a year and a half ago. was trying to install jh combat pack and all that, cause i got nemesis straight from the github page via some nexus mod description (requirement section) and i thought about it for a while where it was its own tool and not just your run of the mill mod, so i tried my best remembering how to add nemesis as a tool but alas i just search it up on yt and here we are! Not every mod will be detected by nemesis, they'll still be generated :-)

You're doing animation and script modding or just gaming in general but have never heard of c++? That's so confusing.. A lot of games in general use it as a basic requirement. I hope you got your shit to work, you must be really green to gaming if c++ i something you've never seen as requirement.

@@katiekaliber c++ is a programming language. The visual c++ redistributable is part of the IDE and will compile libraries that c++ application use. I develop code professionally and I still struggle to figure out how to make mods work with each other 😅

My block animations wouldnt work while moving in 3rd person, thought it was a bug untill i read that launching nemesis fixes it and it did i just never knew how to open it manually lol. Plus you recomended a cool mod so yeah, right on

Great vid I’ve got several animations working but if a call for help reaches any ears-I cannot get any Khajiit sprint mod to work with FNIS now I’m looking to see if ANY will work with Nemesis. Just hoping for someone to finally make a real tutorial for these Khajiit sprint mods and that there is one meant for Nemesis out there now or to come

Ran into an issue. Followed all the steps, except that I had to download nemesis manually cause it wasn’t showing up where it did for you. When I tried to launch it through vortex it just gave an error message saying it couldn’t execute the tool

If your mods aren't showing up, just uninstall and reinstall Nemesis and they'll be there. Not sure if you have to do this for every new mod or this fixes the issue entirely, haven't got that far yet.

Uninstall and reinstall without deleting the mods that aren't showing up. Nemesis won't add new mods but will have whatever I had downloaded when I installed it -- no idea what causes this.

been a while but i cant seem to find the mods i've installed that are movements on the nemesis list. all i see are old ones. Currently trying to put 2-hit combo skysa and sky dodge.

When I open nemesis the program screen looks very small besides that the mods I installed do not appear

Can you show how to properly install vortex? where to put path and mods for example, because i never did it the way that my mods are in skyrim data folder and maybe it is the reason why my nemesis instalation always fails? maybe It's dumb question, great video btw!

How do you create output folder for Nemesis in Vortex ? I used to do that for Fnis , Nemesis , and BodySlide in MO2 but can't create empty mod in Vortex.

What happens if I have my skyrim installed to a different drive and my mods folder from vortex on another? Nemesis doesn't detect any of the mods

Thanks for the video but it seems some things have changed. Nemesis created a folder in my data folder called Nemesis_Engine with the .exe file inside it. I ran it but Vortex is still warning me that it failed to generate FNIS.

can you run Nemesis alongside FNIS if you only need Nemesis for ONE mod?

For some reason my mods don't appear on the list, so I can't check them.

Hi, so basically everytime I try to run Nemesis and update it, it sometimes either immediately quits out, or it gets to like 5% before quitting, I really need some help sense some of the mods I'm using (mco) require Nemesis to work.

Any reason when updating engine, its stucked in 94% even when ive tried putting all my Nemesis Engine Volder into Skyrim> Data

I’m using Nemesis on Vortex- on Steam deck. My file explorer won’t detect my Skyrim folder when it opens up Wine- when adding the tool. Can anyone help?

I want to get the combat overhaul mod (mostly because the dodge roll, and being able to switch between two handed and one handed grips on your weapon seem really awesome) but I run fnis for quite a few of my mods (fnis sexy move comes to mind but if I have to replace fnis then its not a total loss to uninstall the mod), so i'm wondering if I have to outright remove fnis or can I use both fnis and Nemesis if the combat overhaul mod is all i'm using Nemesis for. I have a lot of mods as it is and would hate to have to do a clean start just because I installed something or uninstalled something incorrectly, know what I mean? lol

what if our mod staging folder is somewhere else? it wont let me choose nemesis for vortex :( i know it has to be in the data folder but i dont have a folder called "mods" in my skyrim data area. could someone link the typical area that vortex stages the mods? I want to change it back but im dumb and changed it a very long time ago
