I know this isn’t wanted by Aternos, but it’d be SOO, SO great if we were able to upload our own plugins and mods. It’d give us a lot more to work with, and I’m sure a lot more people want this too, this probably won’t be noticed by many people, let alone Aternos, but it’s the thought that counts.

A way to be able to upload mod files from the PC's hard drive rather than only having the list would be an amazing feature. Much easier too if you already have a custom mod-pack ready

honestly would be so much more convinient if i could just pull my modp[acks from curseforge instead of having only a handful of preset stuff from curseofrge i think you should just make it so you can pull your modpacks from your curseforge and have them work on your server would be so much more convinient

@@nataliamalyszko3857 I guess it depends on which version of Minecraft ur playing. If ur on 1.14 decocraft isn't compatible with that. If ur trying to play newer versions there's less mods since the creators of the mods have to make their mod accommodate to the new version which takes time usually. I would recommend going on 1.12 or lower if u wanna use more mods

This happened to me recently, so I only downloaded 1 mod, I installed the mod into my minecraft. Then, I also had the same version for both mods. After starting the server, Incompatable FML modded server but I still can enter. It didnt have the same mod I have in my minecraft, even when I had the same mod downloaded into aternos. I tried uninstalling the mod and reinstalling it, recreating worlds and same result. The mod didn't even appear.

Whenever I try to download a mod, it always says there's no version available even though there are. I am on 1.8, one mod worked(Minimaps) but whenever I try to add bigger more important mods it just crashes or glitches out. I want to add dragon mounts 2 onto my server but it keeps saying no version available even though I've already downloaded the mod onto Minecraft itself.

OK, so this is old by now, but I've had a thought on adding custom mods. So, one of the reasons you guys don't have custom mod uploading enabled is because of potential security concerns. But. Would it be possible to tie the Aternos mod selector into the Curse mods page? Something like having a URL input for curse project pages, and a dropdown box for selecting the mod version to install? This would probably be a bit of work, and since I'm not a coder idk how possible it is without - ya know - having direct access to the Curse website. But, it's a thought.

It's not possible to modify the predefined modpacks because they are not stored individually for every server.

The "all the lucky blocks" mod by technic is currently not availlable , why is that?

Plz make we can edit bedrock edition deticated server files like edit recipes and add add-ons....

Yes, all players will have to install the mods on their own devices before they can join the server.

Ik this was a while back, but to do it all u gotta fo is click the "players" option on the list on the left, then pick if whoever u wanna add to be operator or just whitelist, then once u pick 1 just click on it then add their account un by putting their username

ive been using aternos for years. Not once have i downloaded a mod right. Always says crashed and i follow it extremely closely. I do not see how it could be easy for new comers.

@@bbysiea I realized it when I was trying to play with my friend, she kept crashing, and I couldn't see the animals in mo creatures, the biomes in biomes o plenty didn't load and different quark features didn't work, not even JEI. guess they just don't work :/

Instead of people saying how.. You need to formally request the mod, if it is not something that is popular, or available on curse. Then you are out of luck.

hi! This exact thing happend to me but i figured out why! Make sure the numbers at the end of your mods are the same! for example ''biomes o plenty 0.345'' (on aternos) and on curseforge it should also have 345 at the end of it! hope im not confusing!

Now I have to reinstall the whole server because I want plugins and mods at the same time :(
