hey man every time i hit play on the version with all my mods in the folder (im installing on pc) the game just crashes and doesnt even get to the main menu

Does preformance mods like sodium work well or does it not really effect it that much?

Great Video man I will be referring to this video for downloading mods but I do have a question. I have questcraft downloaded on my quest 2 but when I go to try and login my Microsoft login goes well but says that I haven’t accepted the terms and I am going to be buying and installing Minecraft on my laptop today will that fix the issue or is there something else at play that messing it up?

Yes you need to own Minecraft to play. That is most likely the only thing causing it not to work

For mod packs do you have to add every sigle mod by its self and what if it has a world with it like skyblock

Yes, but an easier way is to download the modpack and just drag and drop the mods into your mod folder than the world into the saves folder

It should be enabled with v4.0.0 if you didn’t uninstall your last version you may have launched that one instead

If I put the mods in the file do I have to connect my pc to the vr or can I just use it from unknown sources?

You can use the mod manager built into QuestCraft. Or you can connect your pc and do it that way

If you get kick off t of questcraft then one I means it is not done and 2nd you need to reinstall

i havent tried yet but first method looks like its gonna work..

What mod are you using in the intro?

Is the mod automatically in quest craft after installing it via quest craft itself or do I have to enable it somehow in the game?

Yea, after you use the modmanager to install a mod that mod will be installing onto your Minecraft version and to will not have to do anything.

Strange, I downloaded lithium and sodium to boost up my fps because anywhere I look, no matter the render distance, I seem to lag every so often. I even downloaded the iris shader pack to see if the mods actually worked, but I couldn’t really tell the difference. I feel like it’s sorta working because the gameplay is a bit smoother than usual. I’ll download a few other mods via quest craft and I’ll try to keep you updated unless you have any suggestions that might help my problem.

You shouldn’t have installed lithium and sodium because those already come preinstalled with QuestCraft. Basically every performance mod you can think of is preinstalled lol, but yeah the lag spikes are just gunna be there until v4.1.0 comes out the *Performance Update* :)

Also strange, after I downloaded those mods it seems to be working a whole lot better than before. When I set the render distance to the lowest setting (that being 2) it lagged a lot. But when I downloaded those mods. It was way smoother than before and it let me go up to a render distance of 6. I only suffer a few lag spikes every once and awhile. When will this “performance update” come out?

@@Doodle285 it’s possible that maybe there was extra stuff that came with the mods that you installed that wasn’t already pre installed which is what caused your game to become better. Also the best way to see if mods are working is by just installing a mod that adds something new(like a new item or gameplay feature that’s noticeable

It's the first time I install questcraft and when I put the code on the microsoft page the page says "everything went well" but when I press the "Sing in" button again it shows "login failure", what can I do to fix it or why is this happening?

*usually* this means that you do not own Minecraft Java Edition this could also mean that your headset was not connected to the internet when you pressed “sign in”

yes,@@NoahPlayzVR I used to try to install questcraft when I didn't have java edition. even after I quit trying to install it I still didn't even know you needed minecraft java. after I got minecraft java, the sign in process worked like a charm.

you can answer this question if you want but im gonna get questcraft soon and i want to get immersivemc does mod manager have immersivemc in it you dont gotta answer it btw

Sometimes it shows no indication but it actually installs the mod. Launch your game to find out.

You can try to lower the graphics settings if you haven’t already, but the performance issues are Metas fault not QuestCrafts, You will get good performance when the performance update happens, (v4.1.0)

If that happens you will need to delete the mod through mod manager, to do that search it the mod up and then press the trash can after you click search.

Make sure when installing from your pc it’s the *FABRIC* version and you have all required dependencies.

XRCraft was shut down due to unmature staff members. I can’t really go into any more detail. But QC is more laggy because of a memory leak in v51+ that still hasn’t been fixed yet

You should if you’ve launched into the actual game, try installing a version and it should show up, if not then try reinstalling

Sidequest had an update and changed the app completely and I keep searching but nobody tells how to do it with the new interface.

Thanks dude, I did fix the issue but I can’t remember how since I have the memory of a goldfish. Probably just got updated or something to do with the egregious amount of times I logged out, and back in.

ImmersiveMC is ok, last time I used Lamb Dyamic Lights it crashed my game. Just try removing it and see if that works

There is a way to install shaders, but there’s no point since it will most likely crash. The plus button to download a mod usually there’s no indication so launch your game to see if it’s there.

The controllers unfortunately are supposed to look like that, and for the mod downloading issue sometimes when you click download it won’t show any indication but it actually downloaded them. So try to launch the game and see what happens.

Fabric is mandatory. You cannot use forge mods or mods that ONLY support quilt.

Yes, Questcraft is based off the fabric version of the Vivecraft mod.

Please make sure that you are have the *Fabric* version of the mod, make sure it’s the correct version and install any dependencies if necessary. I hope this helps! Let me know if that fixes it

Ah ok, you need to make sure that you download Architectury API along with Cobblemon. Make sure they are both fabric and the same versions.

Fabric is a Minecraft Java mod loader. Fabric is a faster alternative to forge.

When you download it you click the file listed as fabric. If your using mod manager you do not need to worry about that

Have you tried: - Reinstalling (uninstall than install) - make sure not to turn off the headset or take it off your head while the game is installing - Restarting the headset

This is just a downside to QuestCraft or any modded quest app. It will crash no matter what.

It does work but not fully. You will need to bind the main keybinds to the radial wheel.

a bit disappointing it doesn’t support forge but atleast you can use mods at all maybe in the future they can add forge support
