If you are having any issues, make sure that you followed all steps exactly (Exceptions: Download latest version of lml instead of beta 9; Use asi loader [version.dll] instead of dinput8.dll). Also, make sure that your asi loader is updated (version.dll), your scripthook is updated, and that your LML is updated. It is not working for me for some unknown reason. I did every step right. My computer also takes longer to start red dead when i have mods. Every Mod that doens't require lml like Rampage works just fine, this only seems to be a problem with lml. I use rockstar launcher btw

...from your video I realized I downloaded Lenny's "simple" trainer, instead of this one. I didn't realize it was 2 sperate things lol. Gonna try to fix this and then follow the steps here

as i said im my comment this works perfectly, but i was wonderin if you knew how to get lennys mod loader working, i have used it sucsessfully in the past but currently whenever i download it then boot the game, the game ends up crashing right after i start story mode and i have found no where at all with a solution,

I'm trying to install the red Harlow mod, it's a retexture, when I start the game with the mod install it loads up without any problem but nothing changes, nothing is retuxtured, can you please help I've been having this problem for 4 months

not sure what i've done wrong. fresh install, ran the game before hand, followed the steps/ no beeps, no video. edit: i've tried every suggestion from the troubleshooting guide. from using dinput8 over version, to deleting nativeinterop or whatever it was called... still nothing.

MY lml isnt working, none of my mods are working the menu screen is the same, i have script hook downloaded, asi loader downloaded, and still nothing? ive downloaded mods and none of them are working. my game loads up fine even rampage trainer but the mod manager isnt even like either on or working at all PLEASE HELP ITS BEEN 2 HOURS

Do not use mod manager as it is unreliable. Just manually install the lml mods. Also if there is a vfs.log in your game directory, then lml is working fine.

It wouldn’t let me drag the script hook things into the audio to file

I have last update, asi loader version.dll doesnt work, only the scripthook one. And lml doesnt work either, my game just wont launch... why? maybe lml doesnt work with dinput8.dll? I need it for W.E.R.O ragdoll mod..

Try older versions of asi loader.

Is LML Currently working for anyone else? I've never had a problem with it but now, whenever I have the LML files in my directory the game refuses to start. But removing the LML files the game starts up. I'll Hit "PLAY" from steam, then it seems to begin the process of starting up, then it'll just stop, prompting me to start the game again. Anyone have any advice?

the fix for lml didn't work for me on the R* version of the game. After draging in the new .exe and starting the launcher it forces an update on the exe even with auto updates dissabled

I deleted lml and my game stopped crashing for me. Maybe it was one of my mods then

why doesn’t the downloads pop up on lml? the loader connects and disconnects my game just fine but when i download something through mod manager it never pops up. i even tried doing it manually but no luck

The beeps is not coming from lml, it is coming from lst, or outfit changer.

Makes sure that you installed LML fully before launching the mod manager.

I have "Failed to allocate hooking memory!" in vfs.log. The game automatically quit after launch... I have rockstar version.

Please look at the troubleshooting guide in the description. Most likely it is due to the computer not having enough memory.

my LML by default has some stream and downloader files where the mods are getting saved. cant use some mods and some are making my game glitch. i wanted to use whyem's dlc but that dont work sadly. should I put the mod files in downloader or in the base LML file. sorry im new to modding.

Put it in the base LML folder, the downloader folder is for the mod manager only. Also if you get a FFFFFF error, make sure you use Vulkan instead of DirectX 12.

Just create it, the contents of the modloader goes into the game folder.

Why does it keep saying insufficient permissions

So sorry for this basic question but if so if I have say, Mod X and it says that it should overwrite Mod Y, does Mod X go UNDER mod Y?

You should be able to use the Mod Manager to do this, but I think your statement is correct. If it turns out to be incorrect, then mod X goes before mod Y. I would recommend discussing this with the creator of LML on discord if you're still unsure as I never had to overwrite a mod. You may need a LML mod merge in some cases.

Here's my problem, I guess... "1. Make sure you are not using a pirated version of the game. Sometimes the files in that version of the game is preventing the asi loader from work properly." I especially downloaded the pirated version of the game because I don't want to jeopardize my lvl. 450 Online character into getting banned (sure, RDO is abandoned now, but I still play it) as I heard so many players getting Online-banned because of a single "version" file added/modified in the game directory. Besides, I'm running Epic Games version of the game, and I heard the mods broke down somehow with every updates, even Online-related updates (the Rampage mods broke down with the Capitale update). So could you make it to support the pirated copy, please?

I am not the creator of LML, I am just showing how to install the mod correctly. Lml disables online mode when you load the game with the mod. For version.dll file, you only need it when mods require online assets to be loaded in singleplayer. You should not be banned from online as long as you don't go to online mode with version.dll. The last update broke the asi mods as R* changed something with the script system for that update. You can use this tool that will launch rdr2 with mods or without mods: www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/222

i tried this and my game wont start anymore the spinning rockstar launcher logo goes for a few seconds and then nothing. game wont even open deleting everything fixes it did rockstar break lml ? EDIT: ok turns out theres a newer lml version beta 10 and that works beta 9 doesn't work with the current game version i guess

You basically do the same thing, but overwrite files when windows tells you. Also remove dinput8.dll before doing any of this.

Do I need rdr2 asi loader? Because script hook comes with one and I’m courious if I need rdr2 asi loader what I mean by asi loader is version.dll

Use version.dll, it loads online assets for mods that require it, and fixes old mods from crashing the game.

hey i watch the video and the custom start video is working. but idk why my rdr 2 always crash at the start video when lenny mod manager is installed. Even though i don't have any mods installed, only lenny mod loader, but still crash when start video starts. I am using cracked rdr 2 version 1.0.1436.28

Use version.dll asi loader and delete dinput8.dll. That will load the online assets.

Don't use the mod manager, it is not required for lml to work. You will have to install the lml mods manually.

No, unfortunately LML disables online mode. Anyways it is good that it is blocking us as you can get banned for using mods. If you want to use mods in a multiplayer environment, please use RedM instead.

There's an important note about this mod It won't work for cracked version. So anyone who's using cracked, 99% chance is that this won't work. Or if you wanna make it work on crack version, you need old version of lml and scripthook as I've heard. But i tried all of the methods and didn't work on my crack
