How to Install LED Rear Reflectors (2017 Honda CRV)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is a tutorial on how to install rear LED reflectors (on my 2017 Honda CRV). The method is pretty much the same for all cars but you'll have to figure out how to swap out the reflectors and get to the taillights. Let me know what you think of the reflectors down in the comments below :)

When you out the taillight back in did the clips pop back in? I have 2 that don’t seem to go in. The 2 screws did but it seems a little loose making me think the white clips somehow can get pushed into place

Love your content, recently bought a 2017 crv 1.5t. You should do installs on the side! What other mods you going to do? I recently put a bov spacer, dumb but fun.

Congrats on the purchase! I hope one day I can open a shop and do installs but it's a little hard for me to work on different cars confidently without experience right now. Haha, I love the BOV, I heard some bad things about it so I don't have one but I'm sure it makes it more fun to drive. I have a video I'm editing to show the used wheels I bought for next season but other than that I don't think Ill be modding the CRV much more. The only thing I can think of is some matching window tints in the front and maybe the rear sport bumper. I want to save some money for a cheap project in the near future and plus the CRV is pretty much where I want it for a show/daily.

@@brandonramsundarsingh9640 I heard that the bov either makes the car run leaner or richer than it should be but I'm not sure if those claims are valid or not. Haha, I would love to get those items but I think $1500-2000 is probably better saved for something else since the CRV is going to be a slow car regardless

Hey, I recently got these kind of light, but the cable is about 2’ 6” long. It seems a bit short in my opinion. Did you have any issues with the length of the cables?

  • @AnthonyMo

Hey Jose, I had no problems woth the lenth od the wire. I actually had more wire than I needed so I taped the extra around the inside of the bumper. If the wire is short you can always solder and extend it with a equally thick or slightly thicker wire but itll take a little bit of work

If the light does not come on delayed like the running light, you could defintely wire it to be the turn signal. I dont see any harm in testing it

@@mrbaromal I havent reviewed my video in a while but I left the blue wire out to prevent the turn signals on the reflectors. You can remove one of the wires to prevent the blinking sequence when braking but it will not light up at the end. So you can choose to only have the power wired up with the tail lights but the reflector will not react to braking
