@@irianacherry7443 For the deep twist hair i would get 1 pack, for the jamaican braid i would get 3 packs because it has 2 bundles in it.

I don’t want all that loose hair at the end will I just continue to wrap with the thicker hair?

@@glamorousgemm8172 Yes. Also you don't need the deep twist hair since you don't desire the ends. Just get regular braiding hair to start your base braids. And wrap around the Bobbi Boss hair
Omggggg thank you for this video! Girls where I live are charging $300 for this and now after watching this I’m doing my own you made it sooooo easy 🤩
This is so smart OMG! I love faux locs but the last time I installed them where was so much tension on my roots I lost so much hair. Tempted to try this now
By far the BEST TECHNIQUE I've seen. I will be trying this method next week. I felt so much tension the first time I did mine 3 months ago. I'm happy I found this video!! Thank you!
Thanks again for sharing the info! I’ve taken several tips from your other videos as well to combine and use for my faux locs. I hope they turn out well! Appreciate ya❣️💪🏽

How many packs of each hair did you get?
I do mine like this all the time, I also cant braid but every time I do this style and I have been doing this for a year now, it looks like a pro did it. I also, you dont have to add any more of the wrapping hair to the loc if you dont want to, just trim your curly/wavy end for a layered look, also I dont have to burn the ends I just knot the wrapped hair at the end and palm roll it for a natural look
New sub and this was cute your detailed video gives me the confidence to try it instead of crochet thank you
I love this tutorial! You did a good job! They look good. 😍

I’ll be trying this out today :) what gel did u use ?
Looooove this. Im parting my hair as we speak. I got water wave/boho hair so i know itll work.. i did the rubberband method cuz my hair is short from cutting it. And my hair never holds. So i think ill try to crochet the hair. Then wrap.. and try one where the crochet and wrap piece are both crocheted in and see which one feels better.. Thanks for this. I changed my mind about passion twist considering they don't last too long.. .. Do you prefer burning the ends and have you tried the dab of nail glue?
@Snatched By Sharmel how long did you wear this style? I notice your locs are more flexible and not stiff, do you think that’s because of this method or the hair you used?
Seee now you got me wanting to try your method. I think I’ll film myself doing it. Be looking for a s/o, you you me feeling like i can do it 😩😍😍 so pretty

Girl you can do it! This method is perfect for beginners
Did u spend less money on the beauty supply route compared to the curl refinery? And overall for us WOC would which brand of hair gave you a better experience as far as maintenance, upkeep, wash days, sleep routine, etc?
What hair besides the freetress hair would you recommend?
So pretty! Just did mine and didn't come out nearly as good (although it was first time). I'll have to use this method next time!
Cute!!!! I’m gonna try this
Love this! Is it possible to know how many individuals braids were done prior to doing the locs? Thanks

How many packets of each should be used for this size?
Do you feel like the Jamaican braid hair made them stiff at all?
This is the way I've done it since I started doing goddess locs. I could never understand why people braided the hair in. I tried it on the 1st time and it tangled, so I did this method before ever seeing a video in it. Lol

These are beautiful sis😍 but how long do the faux locs last on your head??
@SharmelLynnette
5 жыл бұрын
I usually wear my faux Locs for about a month because I change my hairstyles often. But I’ve had clients wear theirs for 2-3 months.
Did you use 24inch hair?
How many packs did you use ??
Also you can literally just slightly twist your hair in with the curly hair then wrap. That's how I do mine Its really no need to braid any parts all the way down
@SharmelLynnette

Thanks for the tip! Im definitely going to try out that technique

This may be a dumb question , but when you run out of your real hair while wrapping , does the loc feel thin or ? Like how do you keep wrapping it around that loose curly hair ? Idk if I worded that right , but I'm confused 😭

Eboni Williams not a dumb question.. I was wondering the same thing
@SharmelLynnette

The loc will naturally taper off a little bit, but it doesn’t feel thin. The Marley hair will naturally fluff and fill out after you burn the ends.

I followed your method but alot of my mine are unraveling as soon as I move on to the next ☹😟 one. What am I doing wrong?!?!?
@SharmelLynnette

The locs should loosen a little after you've finished wrapping but it shouldn't completely unravel. Try making sure you wrap the hair close and make sure the ends are completely sealed. I hope that helps ♥️

How do you moisturize your hair in this style
@SharmelLynnette
5 жыл бұрын
I make sure my hair is moisturized prior to installing. And then I oil my scalp while they’re installed and the oil usually seeps and spreads to the ends of my hair.
The back be so hard to do
You look like Teiarra Marie
I never understood why women don't just add the wavy hair like you did as opposed to braiding it in.. lol.. Wasting time but I like this video. You explained things and from a functionality stand-point (braid sizes, forms vs time, etc). Pretty color. My only complaint is the forced baby hair. I seriously don't get this.
Thank god for fake hair and make up n surgery.
