Those tarps have one job, to make money. Once you buy one it has finished the job it was designed for.

thanks for the video. you might prevent future tears in the fabric by using a flexible rope that can take some of the forces (wind etc) rather than a solid chain.

They come in many sizes, I believe they were 1/2"

A little oil would make removal easier.

That's looks tacky with the duck tape
