How did you cut out the U profile in the chipboard? What tool did you use?

These where already I then units but if I had to do it I would make a template, jigsaw out the bulk then use a router and the jig to clean it up
Can you show how the L-channel is installed over dishwasher?

Hi mate, you just drop the dishwasher down bellow the l channel buddy, then use the clips either side. Hope this helps
