I play this game very casually (only singleplayer) and I love Gentool. The widescreen feature is great and the timer helps with speedruns. Great addition, can't imagine playing ZH without it.

after i downloaded it and deleted, and now my shockwave 1.1 and .1.2 general challenge mode doesn't work and every time when i press it, it says "please insert disc" is there anyway i can fix it?

My gentool cant upload any single file from ages ago , i dont understand why !!! It always gives me error message when it starts uploading 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

i sadly have two issues with gentool. First i have v8.6 but it says its incompatible with my ultimate collection on origin. Second, i can't reach the site cause i keep getting a DNS Error despite using public DNS Servers. What's the latest version of Gentool and where can i get it please?

Hi Dominator! I recently downloaded G and ZH w/ Gentool on my newly built PC. An issue I faced is that whenever I changed my resolution to anything by 1440 (____x1440) and possibly larger, the screen turns black for a few seconds and the DP (display port) logo appears on my screen. Do you know of a way to fix this? Thanks!

You left out a little bit of information, once you close Zhour gentools automatically updates!

Skirmish is locked to 30. So are replays. Network multiplayer is more

Domi, how do you highlight units and then highlights a set of another units while keeping the previous units highlighted? Whenever I seem to highlight a bunch of units it only highlights the last ones Any tips? Thanks

Control groups by pressing Control and a number. Also by using hotkeys E W Q. Try them out and see what they do

But why still only 1920x1080? A lot of people have real widescreen monitors with a resolution of 3840x1440, 5120x1440 and higher. But this program supports a maximum of 2560x1440. So how do you get a widescreen image at really high resolution?

Domi is there a way to turn off and on the Anti cheat manually? Since I have made a modded maps file where I edit stuff In worldbuilder. I still have the original map files but I’m worried that the anti cheat will not allow me to play multiplayer.

Does OBS work with Gentool? Because I did record generals-zero-hour with OBS when I first installed both, but now with Gentools installed OBS records a black screen.

My game crashes to desktop when i run it with gentool I tried re installing the game Re installed the Microsoft visuals C++ re installed the Gentool manually still ends with the same error with technical difficulties and a serious error. Any ideas on how to fix that ?

Does it fix mismatch? Installed it, not camera height is not like before. The edges of the screen are pitch black...

Nope I still get mismatches even with Gentool so I don't think it fixes that. Edges of the screen are pitch black when you zoom out on maps because maps are set at a certain size so anything outside of the map would just be black as it doesn't render anything outside the map boundaries.

GenTool will destroy your Game directory with never wanted so called "Updates". Strange programm. Maybe kind of Virus inside an its not realy mod compatible. Seems to like be a suspect kind of badware.
