I don't understand how you do switch between input 1 or input 2

You could downsize the 3 hours of soldering and include... Where the leads go, a few seconds on a visual on the camera

What power source did you use for your test? I have tried to hook up to multiple 12v power sources with no luck.

I would want a foldable screen like this one (with wireless waterproof/night vision cameras) but with a DVR option to record the video to an SD Card.. something like this exist?

how did you connect it ,so that the screen always gets 12v (lighter socket), but it stays off until you shift to reverse and then there is an image?

Yes, you can do that way

Bought this screen from eBay and fitted it to my car. After a month the spring loaded mechanism failed and the screen is now stuck in the closed position. The design isn't suitably sturdy to be flipped up and closed each time you use reverse gear.

@ Jins As long as your original multifunction display has an RCA Video Output on the rear, then yes - you connect an RCA cable from your multifunction display to the RCA input of the new monitor.

It ready came with a plug. Just plug in 12v plug. You didn't have to all that

this beeping kills the mind, why does it frequently beep?

you know these videos are really hard understand I mean you showing a little bit here but I don't like when people do not talk during the video especially when trying to help people build something or trying to show a way that something should be done and I don't think it's appropriate I mean I think it's really stupid because you're not talking but you're showing us but you have to watch a video like several times you get the gist of what you're doing and you know you should be talking instead of having the damn music play which is kind of annoying

Do not buy! This is rubbish as I bought one last year and it worked 8 days and then display star disappearing and 3 days later gone, died.I went to a guy that fix radio cd players but he told me - this is a waste of money screen which is no point to be fixed! Chinease rubbish! DO NOT BUY The same has happened with one of my friends rear camera foldable screen!
