I'm so damn insanely proud women are wearing their hair this way now! I had natural locks just like this 10 years ago and so many people told me I was nuts for this! "You cant do that! The rest of your hair is gonna lock and look terrible." 🤨 "not if i brush it though..." I loved the fact that I could still deep clean the top of my scalp, the only place i have dandruff issues, and had the option to cut bangs if i wanted! Damn I miss that hair! Should have never let them convince me to chop it... I'd have real dreads to my butt by now!❤

Im pretty sure it depend on how strong your hair is, like for weaker hair id say like a month or less and for stronger maybe like 2 months. I dont know exactly but i think that 2 months is enough so the dreads wont damage your hair as much.

I know this is an older comment but I have been doing a lot of reading as I am getting my first set put in this weekend and it seems like 6-8 weeks is what most people suggest. Mostly it depends on your hair growth. Hope this helps!

Mine keep slipping :( no matter which way I braid within a few days they are slipping any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Soo when you wash ur hair you put all off and start again?

Wish you would have shown what it looked like before you added the extra 12 for extra volume. I'm really wanting dreadlock extensions but 40 seems like alot. I'm really struggling with how many I should get for the desired look I'm wanting. My hair is super long end of my back just right at my bottom and not really thick pretty much all one length.

Is there more videos? Is this your only page?

How long do they last or how long can you keep them in your hair like this? Can you shower normal etc?🙋🏼‍♀️🌞

Its just like any other extensions. They last as long as how fast ur hair grows out from ur roots. Also if you are using synthetic dreads/extensions then you can wash them but do so gently and carefully

I just don't get the point. The textures don't blend. It may look more natural using Marley hair. This is coming from a natural hair stylist who specializes in dreadlocks as well. If u feel good about it who am I to tell u otherwise.
