My 3M didn’t stay . I lost both magnets . I heard gorilla glue or the double duct is decent . Best installation video I’ve seen on this.

when i open my door the light comes on. sometimes after a few seconds the light turns off then i have to close the door and open it and it comes back on.. new batteries. is yours doing the same thing?

Thanks for the video. I had a hell of a time installing mine in a Ford.. Lol! I also wish that it had a better mounting method as I don't feel very confident that this will stay in place for very long. I had to mount the magnet directly onto the carpeting. Like the light though. God Bless!

Unfortunately the magnet doesn't work for me in a Mini Cooper 2016. I have put the light at the lowest point possible on the door, yet the gap where the magnet can be placed anywhere on the floor is still too big for the light sensor to go off.. it sucks..

So you did the hardest part really fast. I'm confused and just done with this magnet.

I was wondering can you use different type of magnets for it?

Does this leave a mark after it’s been on for a long time and u take it off worried about it leaving marks behind

Adhesive only works well Depending on your door quality.. I needed glue for my because of the plastic slick door.. paint the magnet to match your door.. i did.. covid-19 2020

Right when opening the door mine be off sometimes 😡

What side of the tape goes on the door cause mine wont stick I would hate to glue it on.

use isopropyl alcohol a few times normally interior parts are treated so they don't dry out. you need a completely dry and untreated surface to get good adhesion.
