Great video and awesome job explaining everything. I am looking for an intake for my 86...this injen system looks and sounds great...i also like how the MAF sensor is further down the intake pipe instead of being so close to the filter

I have the same CAI and I love the sound of it.

Injen makes good parts. Had Injen intake on my S14 back in the day. Thinking of picking up a 2014 FRS and doing the same on it. These are nice, last of a dying breed. Light weight, FR, manual LSD sports cars.

Got it in but for some reason when l turn my car on it made a weird pop in the front hood. This was in the Morning too, a cold start up. I later went to go put gas and when l was at a stop my car turned off, FOR NO REASON. L pushed the clutch in and with my leg still on the clutch, the car turned off again. What did l do wrong? Is it my sensor?

Did u disconnect the battery for a few hours so the computer would have to relearn? Its gonna be getting a lot more air into the engine so it wont be enough fuel to match it, so the computer has to readjust to it.

@@backyardchevy328 l put the new intake in and then when l was done l disconnected the battery for 10minutes and plugged it back in and then all of this happened. Also this was today.

No, no check engine light on, but at times the idle would drop a lil low at stops

Well a cold air intake relocates air filter location, increasing the amount of colder air flow to the engine
