LASFIT Auto Lighting The lights are night and day.. I installed the led turn signals on both front/ back. Also installed the led reverse lights. Removing the reverse light assembly was a bit of pain. But man, no errors, no hyper flashing, no problems. Super clean, high quality lights! Definitely highly recommend!

@@lasfitvehiclelife Yes, also I would like to add : I just replaced my dome light bulb over the rear seat in my 2021 RAV4 with one of your 28mm dome bulbs and it was a royal pain. That buib must have dropped out back in my face a dozen times? I figured out what the problem was. The OEM bulb has little nipples on both end that secure them in the metal contacts. Your bulb has smooth points that don't easily catch in the contacts. I finally got it to stay in, but you might consider a design change. I have also replaced the rest of the interior lights with your brand and I am quite pleased with the difference coming from the OEM "dims".

Thanks for the great tutorial video! If and when you have a chance, I'd appreciate knowing the type of LED bulbs for the turn signal lights and reverse lights of the 2020 Highlander (I imagine that they would use the same bulbs as this RAV4 but I'm not certain). A demo video of how to access the bulbs in the 2020 Highlander would be most helpful too!

We'll do the video for 2020 Highlander. For 2019 Highlander and 2019 RAV4, the reverse light, the front turn signals and rear turn signals are the same bulb size. So, if the factory bulbs are still halogens of 2020 Highlander, the bulb size should be the same as 2019 Highlander. If you're not sure, you can take photos of your original bulbs to send us for a look. email: cs@lasfit.com

Thanks for the demonstration. They look really bright how ever I do have a question. These bulbs are one single filament instead of dual. Meaning they only come on when flashers are activated. So when you turn on the parking lights and/or headlights these LED's are not on which means there are no front constant parking lights unlike the original bulbs (with dual filament) that stay one and will only become brighter when flashers are turned one. Can you please confirm this? I want to purchase a pair but I need to be certain that the front parking lights are staying on with out having to turn on the flashers in order for them to work..

Hello, these LED bulbs replace the stock halogen bulbs only. For example, the stock bulb is single filament, bulb size is 7440, and you can use 7440 LED bulbs to replace them. What's your car make, model and year?

Will there still be a parking light function? Will that generate excess heat that will cause premature failure of bulb? I had this problem with my 2012 4Runner with the DRLs/Parking Lights. I now have a 2020 RAV4 XLE (non-hybrid) and use my parking lights instead of my (dimmed low beam) DRLs.

Hi, do your parking lights and front turn signal lights work on the same bulb? 1. We checked there are two types for 2020 RAV4: LED and halogen. If the OEM parking light and front turn signal light share the same bulb, these LED bulbs 7443 will fit. Very nice. Any overheating or flashing issues when using these leds? Used to do this to my former cars. Also, does the RAV4 xle come with LED drl? I noticed many on road don’t even have day light running lights. That was something the govt mandated years ago for manufacturers to have. I’d feel a bit weird driving a vehicle without DRL since my current has leds as drl but I’ll get used to it even if this RAV4 lacks it. This might be my new car coming soon.. if it does I’d like to do upgrades you shown here :)

As shown in the video, the OEM front turn signal light is dual filament, but there is only two wires "+" and "-" (skip to 1:41). It means the bulb works as turn signal light only. Could you double check the bulb of your front turn signal light works as turn signal light only, or also works as DRL/parking light?

Can't believe you didn't mention or have a link to buy these bulbs. Also, you should have mentioned the cost of the LED bulbs!

Hi, what about the heating of the bulb. I have heard, that if you change halogen to led in turn lights the led bulb blinks thickly. But it doesn’t appear if you use external electrical resistance or such resistance build into the bulb. But in both cases the temperature can reach up to 140 degrees (Celsius). It can appear by long usage and destroy light or even cause fire. Can you test it by long usage? I mean to turn it for 30-60 minutes. But to avoid problems. It is better to extract bulb from the light. Thank you!

Hi, this LED bulb was designed with built-in electrical resistance/load resistor, you no need to worry it blinks thickly when you use turn signals. It also was designed with a temperature-control system, which keeps the LED bulbs work in a proper temperature range. Don't worry, they won't destroy light or cause fire. About the working principle of these LED turn signals: 1. When the LED turn signal bulbs work for a long time, the temperature-control system will decrease the power automatically. But the trip-computer system will check the wattage is not right as the original wattage, then the LED bulb will start hyper flash. It reminds you to turn off the turn signal light. When you turn off the turn signals for a couple of minutes and turn on back, it will work again(no hyper flash) 2. This kind of situation just happens when you turn on the left turn signal light only or the right turn signal light only. When you turn on the hazard light, they will work well for a long time, no hyper flash. Because the trip-computer system will not check the wattage.

They don't work with the engine on. With the engine off its fine but while the car is running the turn signals huperflash.

Hi. Does the parking light still work? I need to know this because I’ll bring my 2019 RAV4 to the USA where I will reside permanently. Now my RAV4 has EU specs, that means there are no amber parking lights, these are illegal in Europe. So in order to meet USA specs I’ll need to convert the lighting system as for the turning lights system. The changes won’t be easy I guess as everything seems to be guarded by a computer system that detects if something is not working properly. Now, I think about changing the parking/turning light lamp socket only, and the bulbs ofcourse. My RAV4 has single filament bulbs (wedge) only for the turn signal. The EU spec cars have a socket that only contains two contacts whereas the USA spec cars have four. The 12volt for the parking lights must be obtained from somewhere else, perhaps it can be done by simply connecting the parking light wires to the sockets of the daytime running lights that come on as soon as the contact is on. And ofcourse I need double filament wedge amber bulbs 5/21Watts. Thing is I want the car to be converted prior to importing it into the USA. The car will lack the front and rear side marker lights, these are also not incorporated in EU spec RAV4’s. Thanks, kind regards, Bill, The Netherlands. Your factory headlights are regular reflector type or projector? If you're not sure, you can take some photos to send us for a look. Because the headlight bulb size and fron turn signal light bulb size are different for projector and regular reflector headlight

Hi, if the front turn signal bulb is 7443, usually the bright is for turn signal light, the dim is for drl or parking light. But for 2019 RAV4, even the bulb is dual filament, but the socket just has two wires(positive and negative wires). It means the light works as turn signal light only, no drl /parking light function. Hi, so I got them today and installed them on my 2019 Toyota RAV4 XLE premium and it was easy and the lights are very bright and awesome. However I had three wires on my turn signal holder and also the lights don’t work together with the headlights during nighttime like the halogens did. I don’t want to return the product but is there another led bulb that might solve this problem.

HI if you have the 3 wire socket then you would need the 7443 dual filament bulbs to regain your parking lights. The one in the video has 2 wires thats why we used the 7440 for your vehicle you will need the dual filament 7443. Simply start a return and swap them out for the T-7443 amber or switchbacks.

Hi. I assume the model you got there is not for North America. There are differences between the head lampunits for models sold in Noth America and those for the rest of the world. The turn signal lights for the American cars have a double finction: amber city running lights AND turn lights. The head lamp units built in cars for the rest of the world have only one function: turn signal lights. Please explain what led should be used for both versions. Thanks. I’ve seen that the normal gas RAV4s turn on the turn signals when the headlights are on. The Hybrids however do not and this is a RAV4 Hybrid.

To my understanding, since my car has a dimmer turn signal light when I drive at night and and they only get brighter when I turn on the turn signal, I'm assuming the switch back will work but only on the front. The back has to be only amber or whatever color i might choose?

So, can I change all four (of course lasfit) together and don’t get hyperflash?

They will run as the original equipment. These LED bulbs replace the stock bulbs only, but they don't change the function.

I’ve purchased these bulbs December of last year at the beginning of installing them and testing it I did experience hyper flashing after a while it away, but now I’ve been seeing when the bulbs are running for a while either when I’m in traffic or I just test them out by turning on the hazards they hyper flash I don’t know if it’s because they are getting hot and they need to cool down I just need a confirmation

@@lasfitvehiclelife I replaced the rear turn signals to LED. I didn't change my front turn signals because they were already LEDs. I have a 2016 Accord. I actually like and prefer the hyper blinks. It's not too hyper and it grabs the attention of the other drivers much better, so it's actually not a bad thing for changing lanes.

Hi, if it has two wires, usually it just works as turn signal light only. You can test if it works when you turn on daytime running light or parking light. @@lasfitvehiclelife It is indeed TURN SIGNAL ONLY. DRL's are LED Strip from factory.

Thanks for the video. I really hate the design of the lights in general of this rav4, why Toyota? It is so old school but in a bad way. Even with LEDs at daylight is hard to see them

Hmm... For some models, we found the stock bulb is dual filament, even with 3 wires. But, it just has one function -- turn signals. 🤣 You can use the amber LED turn signal light to replace the stock bulbs

Lasfit Auto Lighting on the rav4 the front amber isna dual filament bulb one for turn signal one for parking light. You guys need the switchback led up front. How long can you signal with both bulbs replaced with led before the hyper flashing comes back again?

Lots of Reviews I’ve been reading state that blinkers for the RAV4 left on after a few minutes start to hyper flash.

Hello, what's the year of your Toyota RAV4? These LED bulbs are specially made for turn signal lights, which are designed with built-in load resistor and temperature-control system. It's normal that it starts to hyper flash after working for 6~12 minutes. It will be very hot after running a couple of minutes, which activates the temperature-control system and starts hyper flash. This deisgn keeps the LED turn signal bulbs last longer. What's the year of your Toyota RAV4?

Hi, L series 7440 LED bulbs are usually used to replace backup light/parking lights /brake/tail lights. Because it is without the load resistor. T series LED bulbs are specially made for turn signals.

I have 2019 Rav4 and in your video you are using 7440 for both front and rear turn signals? On your website it is saying to use 7443 for front and 7440 for the rear. I’m confused which one to use.

Hello, you can use 7443 LED bulbs, the OEM halogen bulb is 7443. As shown in the video, the OEM bulb is 7443, dual-filament bulb, but it only works as turn signal light, no other functions. So it's ok to use 7440 bulbs(single filament bulb). Do you know if your front turn signal light works as turn signal only, or works as two function? Such as turn signal and parking light.

What is the difference(s) in quality between yours(LASFIT) and DIODE DYNAMICS?

A member from ToyotaNation Forum (Highlander), who also has Lasfit LEDs, mentioned that while stopping with a blinker on, after 5 minutes or so they started to hyper flash. What is your take regarding Lasfit LEDs hyper flash after 5 minutes of blinking or so?

@@thanhhungrestaurant8348 These LED turn signal bulbs are built-in temperature-control system, which keeps the LED bulbs work stably in a proper temperature range. When they overheat after working a few minutes, the system will be activated. The LED bulbs will start hyper flash, to remind you it's time to have a rest. This system keeps the LED bulbs last longer. So, it's normal that the LED turn signal bulbs hyper flash after working 5-12 minutes. But when you turn on the hazard light, they won't hyper flash. Because the trip-computer doesn't check the hazard light.

on the 7443 which type do i get dual color(white or amber) or just amber with dim and bright mode? Because i saw you link the comments for rocky99984 is a dual so does it matter or is on your preference? thank you in advance

It's a 2018 Toyota rav4 if it was made in 2018 and sold in 2018 it's a 2018 car. You Americans gave such issues with dates

About the car year, usually we check the label under the hood or the VIN number. It depends on the manufacturer. 🤣😂

Не умные водители насмотрятся таких видео , понаставят светодиодов всюду и слепят сзади находящихся... Если в жопу будет лететь фура без тормозов - яркие поворотники не помогут. Они только раздражают/слепят едущих за этим умником.
