I'm replacing a Fagor that had a bunch of things fail on it (door, panel, leakage) and it takes SO LONG to get parts. I'm nervous that the leaking problem is my plumbing, but since a male person told me that was not the problem, I'm taking the chance that it was the washer pump.

If it was the cold water feed inlet pipe leaking you'd see the staining and damage. Hopefully it was your old machine.

His solution on how to unlock a Bosch washer: Clear, to the point, didn’t waste my time, no upsell and IT WORKED!! Thx!

Me too, didn't know about transportation bolt my machine was moving making a lot of noise At the first wash, I was thinking of returning it. Thanks to him I don't have to.

Yes indeed I ended up returning the washing. As it was leaking. I followed y to our institutions to the T. I had bought an ex display from Currys. Called Bosch for assistance. After reading out the NR number etc. Turns out my washing was not only 4 years old but obsolete! I’m getting a new one on Friday.

Great video, will help me. The only thing I'm scared about is that the washing machine space is so tight, I can't see the cold water pipe or check that there are no leaks, so have to hope for the best.

Yes that's common. Just try to get pipes in a decent position before you slide it back.

Thanks I am replacing mine with 800 series washer and dryer here in Canada. Taking a risk with their ventless 800 series dryer as well and it's scares me a lot whether I will be burning the cash or it will be a happy deal.

Evolution Bro's Yes, the reason we got it is because it's very quiet. I think the Serie 6 can handle a bigger load so maybe that one if you do lots of washing.

Hello, Is it necessary to have a hotwater hose connected? Im from a place where its summer all year long and we dont use hot water. Just cold water. This will be my first frong loader as im used to the top loader and am wondering if there is a need/must for a hot water pipe Many thanks

No this model is cold water feed only, nearly all modern washing machines are cold water feed only as they heat the water up inside the machine.

How much room do I need at the rear of the machine for the water hose connection. I'm installing in a corner of fitted units & can't have the machine protruding beyond my 600 worktop. Thanks.

Well a 600mm depth worktop is standard and Washing Machines are designed to fit under that without protruding too much. Depends if your cold water feed hose is directly at the back of the machine as this may mean you have to have it slightly forwards. Ideally your cold water feed should be at the side of the machine at the back.

I’m replacing my lg with a Bosch series 6 as the lg has been of very bad performance and bad quality.

No need, cold water feed only. All modern washing machines heat the water up inside the machine.

Replacing an 8 year old bosh serie 4 with a new one. Hopefully get another 8 years out of the new model

In theory no but connect it to the cold water feed, this will have better pressure and also you may do a cold water wash which won't be any good if you are connected to the hot. Your washing machine auto heats the water to the correct temperature.

Don't know, I've never used a top loader before but I'm guessing it's all the same. Or just use the Pods which go straight in the drum, they are the easiest things to use.

Yes we really like it as it's so quiet even on the fastest spin (as long as it's level).

Hi, I bought a new bosch washing machine but during the safe removal of 4 screws from the backside, while placing cover caps, one cap went down inside the washing machine... will that cause any serious problems in future, please suggest....!!!!

hello, my old WM is broke, I want to buy a Bosch machine, I have a small problem, that is space, my old machine goes under the kitchen unit, but I have only got 82.1cms space, I had to remove the top of the old model to put into the space, does the top of the machine come off for service, if so what will height of the machine then be, I intend to put the new machine into the kitchen unit without a top, the space is so tight that without the top nothing is going to get inside

hi Sir In my new series 4 8kg front load machine from bosch, after speed reduced cotton program ended, the machine beeped once not 3 times, and instead of typing end it showed 0:10 and unlocked the door. despite everything related to laundry was ok, i wonder why it behaved that way, any idea, please?

Are you sure it's not the child lock? Also when the machine is running the key icon will light which indicates that you cannot open the door. Hope that helps.

Yes it should be ok. Almost all washing machines have the drainage hose output at the bottom of the machine so it will always have to pump upwards. And many systems drain into a man under sink system so this will always be higher

No. I realised I missed the locking nuts on the feet in the original video so I've deleted that and uploaded this version. So its the same but with a few extra minutes in.

No only Cold water inlet feed required. Most modern washing machines and dishwashers only need cold as they heat up the water.

On what hose? The drainage hose? If it goes under the sink onto drainage pipework then yes ideally put a clamp round it, but they are usually pretty tight anyway. If it just goes down into drainage pipework then just need a holder to stop it coming back out.

I just received today a series 4 machine. The rear feet ARE adjustable and the user manual asks you to level the machine in BOTH directions.

@@michaelgreen3542 Unless you have a perfectly level floor once it’s pushed back it’s hard to tell what feet you should adjust. I’d leave back ones and just adjust front unless you have a very unlevel floor.

"Always use the brand new hose" - Why? Many, many other videos on YT highlight the unnecessary "up-sell" this represents. If the old hoses are functioning why replace? So wasteful.

A brand new washing machine comes with a new hose so may as well use it. I agree it's a waste if the old one is ok but they don't last forever and washers degrade over time.

Because of matching lifetime. Since your washing machine is new, it's hose should not be used, or the hose may go caput during the normal life of WM and you will have a leak!

Not being rude but if I was doing a KZread tutorial I would make sure my house was clean
