you made this look way harder than it is. I did this in 20 min, with ramps, wrench, and ratchet. Leave the hangers on!!! and then slide the new exhaust in, WD40. Nice tho!

When I installed mine, a circle O ring fell off from the right side. left side didn't have it. is it necessary to put it back on with the new gaskets?

I was about to give up my 2014 WRX because I just blew my engine out of warranty. But I decided to put a stage 2 tuff iag motor and rebuild the trans. I'm glad I made the decision to keep it.

Can someone tell me exactly what's going on under the car? With the exhaust, muffler, and the resonator? I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to thus stuff but would like to install this exhaust. Did he have a muffler still?

An axle back like this removes the mufflers. If you remove the resonator it gets crazy loud so if you live in a neighborhood they might hate you lol. As far as this car goes it had a stock mid-pipe still.

Is it possible at all for the 2022's to have that signature boxer rumble sound? I've always wanted a WRX and i finally bought the 2022 and I'm still unhappy lol

Only 2014 and older WRXs will have the unequal length headers that give that classic boxer rumble. STIs all have it as well. Equal length headers on the newer WRXs are more efficient for the engine and are mandatory for the twin scroll turbo. Enjoy the 2022, the FA engines are more robust than the older EJ engines.

they took the resonators off, that will make it pop with the axle back, it wont pop with the resonators on

Same, but with Android Auto. Subaru claims it's compatible for wireless on my '23 wrx but nope. It's only functional through the USB port

In most videos, this guy mentions or points out somthing with the base model screens. I think he's low key sad inside not having the full shabang. I know the feeling all too well, as my 2020 Legacy had this same set up and I remember asking myself why Subaru had to rob me with this Nintendo DS looking jazz instead of just giving everyone the screen. I'd try to convince myself that the double was better because I have TWO screens, and I could multi task even though the bottom was rather useless. Anything but admit how salty i was considering the damn screens dont even fit the shape of whats suposed to be there. 🤣 when I got my premium WRX with the screen I was like, I don't wish that on anybody with a base model. 😅🤣🤣

The FA24 sounds the same as the FA20 in the last gen because they dont have UEL headers like an EJ25.

Dude doesn't know terminology and made it way harder than needed. But great exhausts and good camera work 👏 installing one for a buddy in a couple days and wanted to verify the VB was the same as my VA.
