Hello, one question, is that the translator of KZread videos does not make it clear to me what measure of Allen's wrench it takes to unscrew the three screws that hold the recirculation valve, is a measure of 5mm can it be? Greetings!!

Hi guys, i need your help, thing is, that i put on my z20let engine new garett turbo cartridge from z20leh, and after couple months i started to lose boost at 4000rpm, it just lets all the boost out and i can hear recirculating valve opening, mostly on 3rd gear pull. Many mechanics say that its turbo fault, but i think its recirculating valves or actuators fault, what do you think? there are no boost or vacuum leaks, i checked that first

Would putting the bracket on first cause turbo flutter?

Is the 10oclock position the same on a astra gtc vxr ??

anyone fitted a recirc blanking plate and had it run fine?

Karl Rees it connects in where the other recirc connects into the vac pipes

Not had the car for years. But was fine when on.

Couldnt say just yet, not gave it much testing, car is off the road till weather picks up.

I just changed mine, only problem i got is when i started it i heard this squealing noise :s, any idea what that could be?

no fella, this is a recirc valve. The Bypass is were you remove the plumbing for the rear vaccum box.

nope, you need to reprogram nothing. its absolutely fine. This is ideal ready for a remap. Bluudy

This looked like a piece of cake, so I started it on my Z16LET. Big mistake! No way is this a DIY job on my engine. I cur an allen key down to about 6mm, it may just be possible to remove the bolts, but there is no way the recirc valve can be removed. Requires removing the alloy turbo inlet pipe, which in turn needs a pump (water?) removing. I think it might be an engine out job!!!!

PP van dorst it's an update recirc valve it's better made than the standard as he said they fail and split so the one he fitted doesn't fail or split as he did mention in the video

why not just buy a proper supercar instead of playing around with a Vauxhall...
