I learned real quick the ground tarp that comes with these things are garbage. I highly recommend anyone looking to install one of these things just go in and level your chosen location with sand or rock dust (preferred cuz it packs more tightly compared to sand) and then get some 1/2 or 3/4 inch 3ft x 6ft' horse stall mats. The pool was great no complaints. That said I just sold it because we didn’t need it anymore. We bought another property with a pool.

If you say so wish you would have told me that a couple months ago lol. I must have missed that part and I had the sand down anyway. The only issue with the sand is the legs sink in when filled. I will fix this next year before filling. Plan to add some pavers under the legs. I’m off level a few inches due to the sinking but it’s not a problem because the bottom is flat. Thanks for watching take care, Ben.

@@21kidsanddogs I just did the sand to help with leveling since I was on a slope. The uphill side has very little sand no pavers required. Downhill where I had about 4” of sand needs the pavers. This is just my solution as I didn’t read the Intex instructions completely. Hope this makes sense.
