First time father here child is due in less than month so I installed the car seat. I used those straps to anchor the seat and also did the seatbelt anchor over it, but I see in your video you just did the straps so maybe doing the seatbelt anchor over it is unnecessary and I should take it off ? So it’s technically double anchored right now lol with those strap in video and also seatbelt over it (child is unborn at the moment I am just figuring out the car seat 😅)

The instructions say "Do not route excess strap under the Lock Off" and "push down with full weight" to tighten.

The manual specifically states to place the end of the strap to the side. Do NOT route it into the path if the lockoff.

Don’t forget to make sure it’s level as well the side has a guide and if it’s not level turn the nob on the front and adjust until the guide says it’s level.

What's the difference between litemax and safemax ?

The seats are designed for the stage of seat you require. An infant carrier has its benefits in terms of easily removing and attaching the carrier from the base. Whereas convertible seats are installed in the vehicle and the child is placed and removed from the seat. It comes down to personal choice and use cases.
